One of my friends at UM had a comparable last name to yours (though spelled differently), and his first name was "Christian". Very funny name to have in SoFla...

One of the things I'm giving up is coffee. That's going to be a tough one....especially since I'm going to AZ next month and will be golfing bright and early.

Can't tell you the amount of times my last name has been misspelled. I've seen it all.

Let me even stick up for him a bit here - I don't care about the boasting and repetitive stuff and the condos and whale teeth and Coach Frasers daughters... he's a character and it's honestly entertaining lol. He's a good dude and loves UM like we all, most of us, some of us do.

But it's exactly as you said, we all have to eat ****s and be ****ed in the puzzy because Butch lost football games. Also we should be able to have intellectually honest discussions about UM, our past coaches and its history without it being considered "bait" just because he's overly sensitive about the subject.

Hopefully his time out ends soon and he's cooled down, he's alright with me. Though maybe it's not reciprocal anymore lol.

I know this is a small part of your post, but I wanted to highlight something about that episode I found incredibly interesting from a sociological/psychological standpoint. There were at least five (5) types of personalities/responses to him really worth looking at:

(1) the posters who are friendly and say, "congrats on the new condo, bro";
(2) the posters who are curious and ask legit questions about the area/building/etc... ;
(3) the posters who are doing well enough in their own lives, but simply aren't interested enough one way or another to comment (positive or negative) because that's not how they access/utilize CIS;
(4) the posters who live in their mother's boyfriend's basement/trailer/garage and can't help think SWFL is bragging about paying cash for his condo so they respond from a place of jealousy; and
(5) the posters who will take every opportunity to **** on SWFL no matter what because what they like most is bringing other people down.

It would be beautiful if CIS was full of people in the first and second categories, but still a marked improvement if it was mostly comprised of people in the third.
