CIS D-Day - February 17, 2023 - “Meat” at the Titanic!

I know this is a small part of your post, but I wanted to highlight something about that episode I found incredibly interesting from a sociological/psychological standpoint. There were at least five (5) types of personalities/responses to him really worth looking at:

(1) the posters who are friendly and say, "congrats on the new condo, bro";
(2) the posters who are curious and ask legit questions about the area/building/etc... ;
(3) the posters who are doing well enough in their own lives, but simply aren't interested enough one way or another to comment (positive or negative) because that's not how they access/utilize CIS;
(4) the posters who live in their mother's boyfriend's basement/trailer/garage and can't help think SWFL is bragging about paying cash for his condo so they respond from a place of jealousy; and
(5) the posters who will take every opportunity to **** on SWFL no matter what because what they like most is bringing other people down.

It would be beautiful if CIS was full of people in the first and second categories, but still a marked improvement if it was mostly comprised of people in the third.

There should also be a group for people who started out as group 1 or 2, and now find themselves in group 5 because of his pavlovian need to lash out at/belittle all posters about any and all things. I enjoy the trolling now, and try to positive react to all instigations.

I heard a rumor us maudes might be getting CIS T-shirts in the mail to wear to this year's company retreat in D$'s backyard. There, we will be permitted to gaze upon his couch in a true team-building exercise. Even the IRS can't put a number on that sort of priceless compensation package.

It's not even always response to instigators... that's a false narrative. He (and others) respond in kind to many genuine opinions that they don't align with with vitriol when it's completely unwarranted; IMO.

Keep spinning that nonsense about "false narrative". Someone started a random thread about why Butch isn't in the UM Sports Hall of Fame, and within the first three pages, there were multiple posters calling out SWFL by name and/or making obvious comments designed to get a response from him.

And in the first three pages, the only thing he said was:

"Lol at Lied to the trustees....Stop the untruthfulness. He was 100% vindicated by the NCAA and UNC at UNC...And please enlighten me about unethical behavior at FIU, which is more BS...."

Pretty reasonable response. No vitriol there.

Continuously, the same batch of instigators try to start **** with SWFL and then run to the Moderators when they get the inevitable "**** off, puzzy".

Maybe some of you need to sack up. Oooooh, "completely unwarranted vitriol". Maybe if certain people weren't such toxic mopey Miami-haters all the time, then their semi-annual "genuine opinions" would be received with more warmth and gentle kindness.

Just my genuine opinion.

We usually let him go if he’s counter-punching after an attack or what we consider to be a “legit provocation as determined by us” and the people complaining after they start **** can **** off but this isn’t the only scenario. The other scenario is that sometimes people are trying to have a discussion with him and logic through things with him and he tells them to **** off and eat ****s too. I get the ptsd here given the larger number trying to agitate him but it’s not reasonable for him to attack all the same way. Not all of it is a legit counterpunch. I think the Maude’s will all agree on this pretty much.
