Christian McCaffrey

Cane fans would scream if Duke had a season like McCaffrey's and was second to Henry in the Heisman.

And Duke was great, no question.

Somebody ***** slap that choad saying Heisman...

I was thinking the same thing while I was watching it on tv. He was ****** annoying. The first time was whatever. The second time is like ok that cool, we heard you already. Then he just continues on and on. I've seen drunks with more self control than that guy.

Should have been the heisman winner....dude doesn't need 40 carries and tired defenses to do work

Absurd that he didn't win it. Kid broke the record for all purpose yardage in a season playing against an elite schedule.

Take off the hater glasses. Henry and Watson both had better resumes than McCaffrey did.

Henry had an SEC schedule, more rush yards (2,061 vs 1,847) and more TDs (25 vs 13) because Stanford gives the ball to Wright (13 TD) at the goalline.

McCaffrey averaged more yards per carry (5.79 vs 5.74), had more receptions (41 vs 11), and more receiving yards (540 vs 91).

Total Yards from Scrimmage:
McCaffrey - 2,387 on 360 touches
Henry - 2,152 on 370 touches

Oh yeah - he had ~1,700 return yards too.

my bad didn't mean to neg.

DJ was good, not great IMO. McCaffrey is a great player but won't be judged as such because he's white.

Shear proportion of white to black populations stipulates there should be more white players, the bias is obvious.

He reminds me more of Barry Sanders than Barry Sanders' son does. Looks like Duke with slightly lest power and a faster top gear.

Duke was great college player on an average team. Place him on a Top 10 team with a quality supporting cast and his very good numbers increase substantially.

I don't think the NFL will downgrade McCaffrey because of his skin color. He will likely project as a talented multi-purpose player who can run, catch, and return kicks. He's not a 25-carry back in the NFL, but the league is QB driven so it doesn't matter. He's a third-round pick, just like Duke.

Dude is the most enjoyable player I've watched in awhile. It's what I envisioned Duke's career being like, but our previous staff did nothing to have that be the case. I have zero doubt that if Duke played in place of Christian he would have equal or better results.

Christian is the goods, robbed by SEC bias.

That's a good point on DJ....I hope you're right about McCaffery but I'd be surprised.

**** nah duke doeNt have tjose wheels

For comparison's sake, his style and [projected] size combination reminds me of Fred Taylor.

I know it's not appropriate to compare guys of different skin colors, but that's who comes to mind when I see him make a clean cutback and destroy an angle. Taylor also had great balance and straight line speed (understatement for Taylor). Taylor may have the edge in height. Mccaffrey will probably end up around 220.

Does everyone realize McCaffrey is listed at 6' 205 as a 19 year old sophomore? He's not scatback size or a utility player.
