Seems like we’re running out of options.

No such thing as running out of options when filling out a coaching position. Many good coaches out there, we just need to find them.

Sort of ties to this a little and why I'm not certain that Wilson would have been the guy anyway

I just listened to a podcast with Coach Kul and he talked about when he came to Miami and talked with Manny about the things he wanted to do and Manny said it didn't work at Miss State because we couldn't get any penetration up front until about the sixth game we figured it out. Then Kul went on to say "well, if it takes more than 6 practices, you've probably got the wrong guy coaching DL"

The stint at MSU before miami was different than the years he had Wilson as DL coach. But something to consider. Colorado was ranked 5th in defeensive havoc rate this year so it probably doesn't apply to Wilson
