Chris Stock picks Cook to Miami

Lol at yearby red shirting

That five week injury is really gonna hamper him next September.

It could hamper him in the spring where Cook will EE and show the coaches what he can do (against our defense in practice, he's going to look like Barry Sanders) plus Dukes spot is safe. Crawford's getting better and Gus will get an off season plus a spring to show what he has. I could see Yearby redshirting in that scenario

That's actually not a bad scenario with regard to stagger. RS Yearby and play Cook. We play with Duke, Dallas, Gus, Cook next year and when Yearby comes off RS, Duke will be gone.
F that! Put em all on the field. Wasted a yr of production if you use rshirt. Now that u can leave for NFL after third year play en NOW! Unless they need more strength or they want to.

You've been able to leave for the NFL after 3 years for well over 20 years.

Don't know who this guys is, but FAP FAP FAP.
Founder of ITU, used to cover UM for Grassy before it became Canestime.

How reliable is he?

Stock is pretty ***.... he's articles are well written and his info is usually spot on

He is a douche with no connections. (besides 247 network) I will say he is usually correct in what he says (unlike Ferman throwing crap against the wall) but it usually is 3 hours behind & covered in ******ry. /rant

Dont twist my comments Lamp.... he may be but you just said it, " He's usually correct"

I agree their behind a lot when s*it breaks and they get mad when posters start threads before they do

Yep. Just never stops here. Same thing over and over every year. Expect the worst, hope for the best, that is the best way to deal with recruiting. Id say we have about a 35% shot of grabbing Cook. If his visit really blows him away, then MAYBE. People are setting themselves up for a major disappointment. Most of these recruiting "gurus" dont know squat. They are guessing like everyone else. Guys are going to get all jacked up and if it doesnt go our way, go into a meltdown and start trashing the coaches, the program, everyone and everything.

Funny, you can predict the future by knowing the past.

That's the dumb *** no good fans. The real ones know that anything can happen and any analyst can be wrong even our guys here. Im not going crazy but I follow a guy like Stock and he is accurate most of the time so I will think UM is trending especially with many other reports including on here that UM is making an impact on him and his family but I still can see him going to FSU

I will say this right now. IF we somehow manage to get Cook, its going to be for 2 reasons IMO. Duke and Yearby being hurt. If he comes here, I think he is probably thinking he may be able to blow past everyone on the depth chart. And Im not convinced that its not a real possibility. Duke's injury was no joke. He's not going to come back and be carrying the ball 30 times a game. Yearby is hurt, which could put him at a disadvantage for Spring. If Cook DID come in, as an EE, he is almost immidiately #2 behind Duke, with Duke still being hurt, and in rehab.

IMO, if he comes, that will be the biggest factor for his "change of heart".

Yearby is going to be back in 5 weeks and I'm not sure of dukes timetable but off a conjecture I don't believe he will miss that much time. If we get Cook, it's because we won. Won't be because of those reasons
