Chick speaks out on Mark D’Onofrio/Golden Era

No offense to Chick glad he's in the NFL but he was never an explosive force

Just because he was a 5*/highly ranked recruit people thought he was suppose to be what Clowney was. Can you honestly say Chick was more atheltic than Chad Thomas/Jackson? Look where those guys got drafted.
How different do you think their play would be if you added 50lbs to them?

Al ****face Folden by far the worst Corch in school history.

Every time I think about that POS it still ****es me off Smfh. I've got no animosity towards Richt he did the best he could & realized he was finished, I even don't have hard feelings towards Shannon like I used to (couldn't stand him when he was with the Gaytes) he was never fit to be a HC, he was a good LB coach here but that it's.

But with Folden, I ****** HATE that clown, I mean unequivocal pure HATE. He completely killed the program doing irrevocable damage & was way worse than Coker or Shannon imo.

Diaz would have this dude killing qbs in college. Fuqin Golden man such trash
Yep. There isn’t much of a difference in talent as a group. **** I dunno, you could make a case that Golden had more talent on D than Diaz did last year. (I don’t feel like reliving it but you get my point)

We were loaded with 4 and 5 star guys.

Seems like those were the last cycles of kids who loved Miami and had some sort of memory of us being good. Now kids just want to go to bama......we have to stop that soon or Sabans hip has to fall off. I wish we had Malik for the bama game so he can throw a ball at him and maybe a player under cutt his *** going for the ball.

Definitely had some kids that loved Miami if they still committed to those ********

I still think Golden was a better overall recruiter than Rick. Look at the NFL talent that was still coming out of Miami even on a 6 win team. That 10 win team a couple years ago was mostly Golden's players. Year 3 when Rick had more of his recruits playing, the team was not good and he was STILL using a QB recruited by Al Golden. Rick was the better coach, Golden was the better recruiter. I'll preemptively give myself a downvote since I know people are going to hate hearing the truth.
Without meaning to get into the recruiting side of this comment, I have to note the fallacy as to coaching. Richt was an offensive coach, and his offenses were the WOAT. Richt was worse at coaching offense than Golden, and Golden wasn’t an OC by background. That’s astounding. Golden gets the fail because he couldn’t fire his buddy. And that’s okay, I couldnt stand Alfraud Gluten for many reasons. Including recruiting. But if Golden had hired Diaz, this would be an easy discussion. Which is a heck of an indictment of Richt.

Golden was the starting TE for Penn St when we beat them in 91...he certainly does come from an offensive backround.

Come on, man, I wasn't trying to pile on Ol Rick. Lol. I just wonder what kind of success Miami would have had if Golden had put aside his ego, fired DNo and switched to a 4-3 (even if Manny wasn't the DC). Wasnt Bill Young the DC when Golden was hired or had he taken another job? Golden had a NFL caliber OC but one of the worst DCs ever. He was smart enough though not to name himself DC even though that was his forte. I dont think thats as bad as Richt making himself the OC and proceeding to have the worst offense ever at the University of Miami.

Somebody should've swung on that coward right their, we getting ready to play Florida St. and that clown actually said "dont rise to the occasion, just fall back on your training" the worst part is, their were so called UM fans trying to defend that clown and his statement!

By far the worst era in our history b/c of our National Brand. He alienated the fan base, our recruiting grounds, the alumni, the players. Everything about Al makes me sick to my stomach and nothing brings me more joy than to see him being the same chitty coach for The Lions.

LOL...Golden could've done all of the above and He would've still told the team to "don't rise to the occasion" before a Nationally televised game...attitude reflects leadership!!!

Golden and D'no ( and you cannot uncombine them they are 1 at UM) were the worst coach/ D cord in UM history . Shannon wasn't good at the HC thing but could coach D and Richt was just past his time but he did bring in crap load of talent so there were bright spots with them but with Golden literally every word out of his mouth was such garbage and the opposite of what should be said and done and he was just a flaming idiot . I have mad love for Richt ( for loving UM so much he walked away did his best to make sure Manny was brought back) and Shannon for his time at UM too but Golden can suck my *******.

I am not going to bash Coker as we don't win in 2001 or basically repeat without him as he let the leaders lead and the players run the program . Any big time coach wouldn't of let that happen and that Fuct face from Wisconsin for sure wouldn't of . Once they were gone he wasn't very good but he brought 2 title games so his time was well spent .
