Chick speaks out on Mark D’Onofrio/Golden Era

This is why they will always be the worst of all time. They actually hands on ruined/Stole kids college careers

Bush
Mccord
Howard
Chick
Washington

....many more
I agree with that list except B. Washington. Didn't seem very good - maybe lacked work ethic.

“Don’t rise to the occasion”
“Brick by brick”

Somebody should've swung on that coward right their, we getting ready to play Florida St. and that clown actually said "dont rise to the occasion, just fall back on your training" the worst part is, their were so called UM fans trying to defend that clown and his statement!

I’ll give you the work ethic piece. That seemed to be the trait with a lot of kids in that class (Fortson, A. Johnson, etc) But I was saying Washington because they moved him to OT right when he was developing into a AA guard.

No offense to Chick glad he's in the NFL but he was never an explosive force

Just because he was a 5*/highly ranked recruit people thought he was suppose to be what Clowney was. Can you honestly say Chick was more atheltic than Chad Thomas/Jackson? Look where those guys got drafted.

" Be a cheeseburger " lol

Donofrio and Golden shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football field. All No'D does is cost people money. He cost a few players at UM and a few more a UH. One thing I remember hearing during this year draft was how Ed Oliver's tape and production and potential could of been better if he wasnt playing out of position. McShay even said he was the best cfb in 2018. And only a clueless bum like No'D would force him out of position for the sake of his bs defense.

How these guys remain employed is beyonnnnnnnddddd me!

This is old Chick news.

Not for Chick. That regime screwed up a lot of kids, and it's worth remembering every now and then how big of an impact these coaches have on the players' (and their families') lives.. My personal favorite was T McCord. I am still convinced he had the skills to grow into an NFL caliber player with the right coaching.

meh. I call bullchit that Golden and dingleberry messed up his college career. he played the position HE and DADDY wanted...!!! he was just not good enough as a DE. he got manhandle by OT's all day long. he re-discovered his speed in trying to slim down for the NFL combine. his only hope was as a special teams player. as it turned out he got lucky as chit as he still had his wheels. if NFL hadn't become a such a specialty league he would be coaching somewhere right now. anyways, good for him, but he should really shut the F up and count his blessing...
:snoopfacepalm:

I still think Golden was a better overall recruiter than Rick. Look at the NFL talent that was still coming out of Miami even on a 6 win team. That 10 win team a couple years ago was mostly Golden's players. Year 3 when Rick had more of his recruits playing, the team was not good and he was STILL using a QB recruited by Al Golden. Rick was the better coach, Golden was the better recruiter. I'll preemptively give myself a downvote since I know people are going to hate hearing the truth.

Fortunately, that's not much of a concern these days. Golden's a position coach, will never be more than that. Dorito is out of a job and will be coaching Div II or High School going forward. Franklin is an assistant DL coach for Seattle, Carroll works for daddy in Seattle, Williams worked for D'O at Houston so not sure how long he'll stick there, Scott is TE coach for the Gators, Kehoe retired.

Truly the shyttiest of all ****** coaching trees I've ever seen.

... The shocker to me is James Coley. I expect he'll ***** up Georgia's offense, and Smart will fire him to cover his own *** by 2021.

Never forget

Now you are lying. They never wanted it

I'm tired of the Chickillo saga. He was a good college player that fought his *** off for the canes. Him and Shayon Green that one year were warriors. With that said, he is a roster player in the league. Obviously great for him but no one outside of canes fans know who the **** he is. He was never gonna be a stud player no matter what position he played in college, lets be serious.
