How does this effect the big 2020 TE commit? Aren't they a package?

my favorite back this class after sanders. rich mans crowley

Naw I don't think he's as good as Crowley. I think he was about 5 or 6 on the board.

Little bit like Homer but I think Homer is better. Think CU is settling or building depth a little with this one.

"Kid was not a take by the staff due to not being exactly 6 feet tall" - Geo ... Just messing around but no idea if we would have accepted his commitment or not due to the slew of RB's in this class. Either way he is good and we better start gaining some momentum.

No TB def loved him. Any other year he's a take. Just that when Kenny and Trey on the board still it's tough. Sucks to miss on him but it is what it is, cant take everybody.

Didn’t even know he was considering them. Kid is the goods

Just read the article. He only got offered in the past month. Went on a visit over the weekend. Guess the spring game atmosphere was a big hit. Committed today.

Kid has a nice ceiling, agree with the Homer comparison but maybe not as physical. I would not have been upset with him in our class.
I want Sanders

Clemson has nothing but Etienne at RB. They need 3 RBs in their class.

Miami in much better shape at RB with Homer, DJ, Lingard, etc...Crowley in the fold then other RBs higher like Sanders and McIntosh.

The Clemson coaching staff is doing its best impression of a pirate, raiding the southern part of Florida for some of the area’s best players, right in the backyard of the Miami Hurricanes.
The Tigers got a commitment from 5-star receiver Frank Ladson (South Dade) Saturday and picked up a commitment from 4-star RB Cesare "Chez" Mellusi (Naples, Fla.) when he announced his commitment to Clemson Monday night via Twitter.
Mellusi picked up a Clemson offer on a visit to Clemson a week ago.
“To be honest with you, I knew after the visit. I’ve been wanting to get an offer from Clemson for the longest time,” Mellusi told TigerNet shortly after the commitment. “It was just a matter of me sitting down with my family and letting them know. They were all on board and they all supported me and that was that.
“I was on the phone with Coach Swinney not too long ago. He already knew because I was talking to Coach Elliott about it. He was fired up. He was really happy.”
Mellusi said the Clemson coaches didn’t have to sell him on the program.

“It speaks for itself. The hard work in the weight room to the practice field, it’s really cool,” he said. “They all hold each other accountable. They’re all really close. Nobody is their own person doing their own thing and that goes for the coaches as well. They’re all really close with their players, and I think that’s why they win so many football games.”
The Hurricanes finished a close second, and he says he doesn’t mind moving away from home.
“A part of college and a part of growing up is getting away from your family and whatnot. Miami was probably the runner-up,” Mellusi said. “That was probably one of my favorite schools going into the Clemson visit. I want to be my own person and I felt like Clemson was my opportunity to have a family away from home and would open me up to new things and allow me to be my own person. Miami was just not going to give me that because home is 20 minutes away.”
The visit to Clemson let Mellusi see all he needed to see.
