That training for the Olympics line had me rolling. you can tell he knew the previous staphs overall approach and tactics were bs. this team is about to skyrocket upward with professionals running the program.

It could be a subtle hint that he will bounce if he doesn't get some deserving playing time.

I checked out on recruiting a few years back and on a lot of football during Covid

Can someone explain this part to me? The Covid recruiting?

Is this stemming from them not being able to travel anywhere at the time?

It probably simply had more to do with, mama’s overriding the decisions of their sons and calling the shots. not wanting their baby’s getting too far away from home during a pandemic, of historic proportion, with no known end in sight (at the time).
