Give me Bumker or give me death, you don't get to give up 544 yards rushing and 778 yards overall at the U, period.
I absolutely will. 4 great people. That should be interesting.Speaking of Sam, "One Night in Miami" is a fantastic film that just came out. Features an imagined meeting of Sam Cooke, Ali, Malcolm X and Jim Brown. Check it out
Would or wouldn’t?I have said I wouldn’t have rather has him than baker
Demotion offered?I would say the ball is in Bakers court.
Exactly...Rumph was not a Manny hire, so we need to see if Manny is as "savage" as people claim. To this point he's just done the bare minimum to keep people happy. If Rumph was fired and Baker was not then I could care less. Unless more changes are made, Baker at the very least, then Mandy has failed the program
From what I understand, yes.Demotion offered?
Miami: the number one exporter of half-measures since 2000!I’m still running with my understanding that baker isn’t going anywhere and what they came up with after UNC was a new co-dc - this was right after Banda got his job - and they were gonna fill his spot or Stroud with a guy that could bring a new perspective and make tweaks. I’ve not heard anything on baker since then.
So obviously things would be different if that changes.
A friend in agency has also not gotten any wind of a change coming and they’re usually first to know or know when there’s smoke and he’s said nothing.
What about Patke? From what I understand, yes.
No brother, that wasn’t me. I’ve said sadly the opposite as of right now.@Canes Brotherhood has said more than once that Baker will be fired iirc. So we'll see.
Thank you for the informationDon’t think or know. I’m just saying what would make sense to me.
Wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he was fired.
Havent heard anything about him at all. What about Patke?
And I will say it again, I don’t disagree. And I'll say it again, he's already the LB coach and they were arguably the worst LB group we've ever had here. Time for Baker to go back to Louisianna.
I would say the ball is in Bakers court.
Probably not. But definitely had a “compete with unc” level roster...Definitely had a playoff ready level roster..
Wait are you an insider now?Havent heard anything about him at all.
From what I understand, yes.
If Manuel removes Baker it shows his development in his leadership for the better of the university. No point in keeping Baker on staff in any capacity. He proved he sucks as a DC and he proved he can't develop LB's. Why keep him around at all?
