Quick rematch next season: Washington hosts Michigan next year
MollyWho do you chose? Molly McGrath or the other sideline reporter gal?
gonna be a fun game. figure UW gonna try to avoid the trenches and run wide when on offense, but I think they're gonna have issues slowing down Michigan's running gameCrazy that both games came down to stops on the final play.
Washington is in for a different kind of animal when they face Michigan in the trenches. They haven’t seen anything remotely like that all season.
they got silly with the play calling when up 13DeBoer did a very poor job of clock management down the stretch.
It reminded me of the head coach of my favorite team.
Yes.Who do you chose? Molly McGrath or the other sideline reporter gal?
do you think Texas had higher odds scoring a touchdown with 50 seconds or 20?So with 20+ seconds Texas couldn't score a TD?
I made a comparison to the game we just saw and the GT game, i even stated in the comment that it was mismanagement by mario
how is that celebrating anything? are you cway's burner? or just struggling following along?
Super intriguing matchup for sureYeah, he wasn’t calm. He wasn’t seeing the field at all **** near all day, but especially these closing moments. When UW called a T.O, Sark should’ve calmed him down & told him to trust his reads. He kept predetermining his throws & they weren’t accurate. AD had inside position on that last play, put it on his shoulder. The only thing the CB could do at that point is try to run through his target so it’s either a catch or P.I.
Either way, Texas shot themselves in the foot several times today. Hella penalties & costly turnovers that killed promising drives. With that being said, as much as I enjoyed UW, I think UofM will be their kryptonite b/c they control the L.O.S on both sides, which will limit UW’s possessions. Texas is a fun team, but they are weak on defense, (ranked 76th). Michigan is 1st in the nation, #5 against the run & #2 against the pass. Washington have yet to face a defense like this. UO was 63rd against the pass & UT is 93rd.
So it’ll be very interesting to see a UW team that’s been escaping w/ close wins all year does against a real defense for the first time. I’m excited.
They don’t believe in coming fast…So with 20+ seconds Texas couldn't score a TD?
Executed properly, there was no need to hand the ball off risking a turnover and injury to their best RB who was already injured.Mario
Isn’t the only meathead
These cosches
Do not understand risk and clock management AT ALL
so you're taking the fact that i'm saying he should have kneeled today (because it would have taken an additional 30 seconds off the clock) and twisting it entirely to say that I'm comparing deboer and Mario in every single aspects of their careers and past decisions?Miami lost the GT game. The clock would have run to zero by kneeling.
Washington won tonight.
One coach is 25-2 in the last two seasons. The other is 12-13.
One coach lost their RB in the Pinstripe Bowl coming back from injury two soon. The other lost their RB trying to win a playoff game.
Not every call will be perfect. But posters comparing Mario to the 4 coaches in tonight’s games by singling out their few missteps is laughable copium…
I've seen enough of your posts to realize your football knowledge is limited. Allow me to school you and the idiots that agreed with you quickly....do you think Texas has higher odds scoring a touchdown with 50 seconds or 20?
think about that, phone a friend, and get back to me. because you're argument doesn't make sense
if they had kneeled the ball, Texas would have had 30 less seconds than they did. point blank period. I get that you get into arguments with people a lot, but really this isn't an opinion thing, you're wrong.
texas didn't score anyway, but Washingotn opened the door by running when they could have kneeled it - not to mention getting a key player injured
I don't mind it so much if you tell th me QB to take a knee if it's not wide open.Throwing the ball on 3rd and 10 before the field goal was one of stupidest calls I've seen since Mario's kneel down.
I don't know why these coaches go brain dead at the end of games.
I could be wrong but isn't the knee done when you can run the clock out? I've NEVER heard of anyone kneeling to run MOST of it out then punt on purpose. That sounds like something Mario would do to show us he learned the kneel.do you think Texas had higher odds scoring a touchdown with 50 seconds or 20?

Pretty sure UW has a blue chip ratio under 50%. Crazy what good coaching, an elite QB, and an elite WR can do. Clemsons formula.
First down was a wasted play
what if the rb had fumbled?I could be wrong but isn't the knee done when you can run the clock out? I've NEVER heard of anyone kneeling to run MOST of it out then punt on purpose. That sounds like something Mario would do to show us he learned the kneel.
Because kneeling takes 1 second off the clock opposed to running the ball. Even on 3rd down if he wanted to make that argument the play clock would start directly after the knee.I could be wrong but isn't the knee done when you can run the clock out? burning more clock by running.. you mean like when they ran it and the rb got hurt and the clock stopped?I've seen enough of your posts to realize your football knowledge is limited. Allow me to school you and the idiots that agreed with you quickly....
The reason you run the ball instead of taking a knee is because run plays even minimal 2 yard gains eat up 4-6 seconds every play. By taking a knee which takes exactly 1 second you are potentially leaving an additional 12-18 seconds on the clock. I realize you and others have been damaged but making up **** is not the way.
K, bye.
