On the Washington 3rd down play before the last field goal to go up by 9, The coach calls a pass play. If your going pass, you need to tell the QB to take the sack and not throw the ball away.

Secondly, Washington should have just taken a knee 3 times. They were only getting an extra 2 seconds handing it off and creating all that extra risk of fumbling.

Details matter. If Washington loses, he has nobody to blame but himself. A lot of unnecessary drama that could have been avoided.
