My solution is to just remove the G6 spots from the CFP and reserve them for 2 ACC teams. lol

It's wild cause as soon as you get past the top 3-6 teams in CFB there's another tier of about 10 teams then after that it's a mess of about 30-40 teams of equal strength.
But generally the difference between the top team, which is subjective, and number 10 isn't that far. The game still gets played on the field.
But the top 3-6 teams would beat that third tier 9 out of 10 times, i.e. Miami vs Wake.

Why is it a joke? Is it because Miami happens to play in the ACC and this metric will be more of a detriment to teams in the ACC- and teams in the SEC and BIG, who play in a tougher conference, will get a much deserved benefit? Isn’t that how it should be?

Much deserved benefit of being overhyped and overrated????? May I remind you that tennnessee didn’t beat a single power 4 team with a winning record last year. But……… They stayed in the fkn top 25 all year. This is worse corruption than in politics.
