The Canes got some momentum on their side with the commitment of blue-chip CB Brody Jennings. The 6'1, 190-pound Jacksonville native flipped his commitment from Michigan choosing Miami over the Wolverines, Florida State and Florida.
His brother Bradley is a former Miami Hurricane linebacker and his older sister Brittney Jennings is currently a sprinter on Miami's track and field team. His father, Bradley, who tragically passed away last month, was a standout linebacker for Florida State.

There are plenty of position-versatile defensive backs in the class, and there is a desire for another outside cornerback. Miami has found success on the west coast and is now working to get involved with LSU cornerback commit Havon Finney. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder has been committed to the Tigers since April. He's a big fish that Miami is hoping to sway away.
