2026 CB Board (2026 Edition) Will We EVER Land an Elite CB class?

Miami has pushed hard for the No. 30 overall prospect and No. 4 cornerback since offering him roughly a month ago and is trying to get him to campus, although the two sides are yet to schedule anything. Adams has communicated with Miami cornerbacks coach Zac Etheridge, defensive analyst and cornerbacks assistant Terry Jefferson and head coach Mario Cristobal since being offered Feb. 13 and thinks well of Miami as a program, although he said Penn State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Tennessee, USC and South Carolina are at the top of his list.

“I’ve been talking to coach Cristobal since maybe early in the season, but i’m just really getting to know how I can come in there and be great,” Adams said. “How they see me as a really good player and how I can come in and make an immediate impact.”

“I would say they’re good coaches obviously, and actually they’re good people to really have a conversation with and not just (talk) about football,” Adams said.

Adams said the opportunity to make an impact at a school and the role a school views him playing will play the most significant factors in his decision. He plans to commit this summer but hasn’t set a hard date. He acknowledged he’ll consider NIL as well but doesn’t think it’ll play a major factor.
