The month of March is loaded with unofficial visits, and Miami's board is starting to come into focus. This week we are focusing on some names high on Miami's board that haven't gotten a ton of attention:

- The two new defensive back coaches (Zac Etheridge and Will Harris) have shaken up the board. One name visiting unofficially next week is Blake Stewart (Atlanta). They view the 5'11.5, 170-pound four star as a dynamic athlete who can line up at CB, S, nickel and return. His official visit is set for June 13th...

Deepest CB board I have ever seen us have. I can’t see us taking more than 3 unless an elite 4th wants in but I hope 4 is the number. Until I see it on Saturdays, nothing is fixed yet. We are knee deep in the portal era, keep stacking and never stop especially at premium positions like CB.

2026 4-star DB Jaelen “Seatbelt” Waters has announced his commitment to the University of Miami Friday night on X



“It’s been a long process but I know where I’m supposed to be.”

The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder from Seffner, FL is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the state as well as the country. (No.15 CB Nationally, No. 4 CB in FL). He applied his trade at Armwood where he was credited with 20 tackles and two interceptions his Junior year.

With the team off for spring break, the staff is even more locked in on recruiting. Here are some names to monitor as business begins to pick up:

- Miami is aggressively pursuing offensive linemen in this class, which they believe is the best in years. This includes high-profile uncommitted targets (Jackson Cantwell, Keenyi Pepe) and flips. Two potential targets for a flip: four-star Mississippi State commit Emanuel Tucker (New Albany, MS) and Louisville commit Joel Ervin (Fort Myers). Miami is very high on the upside of both.

If we miss on Flowers, this kid may be worth the offer for his speed & return ability alone. Listed as a CB but plays both ways and is. TD machine. A Boise State verbal who is too talented for them with all due respect. Ran a 10.4 this month. He’s a metro Atlanta kid from a school that pumps out talent so I’m sure Etheridge knows about him.
