Agreed. The kid moves around fantastic and keeps eyes downfield. We will be back to having lots of explosive plays even if the OL takes a big step back

Mensah to me is like Jennings from SMU only better at all things. He’s gonna do major damage
 
Wilson and Cantwell go back and forth. But if Cantwell is already competing with an NFL speed rusher his first spring, imagine where he'll be in December. He also has the ability to pulverize undersized players in the run game.

The best players this OL faces all year will be in practice. We are cooking if each group can "hold their own" by playoffs
 
I laughed watching Anez cooper, Francisco Mauigoa, James brockermeyer and company would
Destroy players in the open field. their eyes would get so big when they knew they had free lunch.

Cantwell going to have the opposing players making business desicion.

The kid has come a long way since January and was facing arguably one of the best DEs in CFB. As long as Cantwell continues to improve, we’ll be ok.

I will say that based on that video, he isn’t the fleetest of foot and will struggle with speed rushes. But if he gets his hands on you, it’s a rap.

I just rewatched. There were 19 plays. The only 2 where you can possibly say he was beat were the 5th and 11th but it’s hard to tell. Cantwell is 79.

This so true. That's the great thing. The only edge that we play that scares me is Traore from ND.
The great news is by that time our whole OL will have a lot of game experience.
McCoy scares me regardless.
It will not surprise me if he's replaced or splitting reps when the season starts.

Thank you. Appreciate the honest assessment. I also watched the video and Cantwell did not own Wilson. He did win some plays, and Wilson won some other plays.

I'm super high on Cantwell just like everyone else is. He's obviously going to be great, but he has some work to do. He is incredible for just a true freshman, but he's not Bryant McKinnie yet, nowhere close. Cantwell is obviously very strong and has good technique, but he's a little slow with the feet, just like you said.

It is very exciting to see a true freshman going up against seasoned vets and holding his and even looking really good on some plays, but I think we need to cool the jets with the "he's dominating everybody" talk.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Okunlola, Wilkerson or Congdon took over that RT position by the end of fall practice.

Agreed 100%.. Im gonna have to see McCoy do it from tackle because he struggled pass pro from guard too much, it doesnt make sense to me and the reporters from spring saying he needs to lose weight as he doesnt look like a tackle body doesnt give warm and fuzzy..
