Gaynor and Hillery might be the biggest OL steals of this recruiting class. These two are getting over looked by the big programs IMO. Butt-hurt over staff losing divas but forget that our staff identified two studs that basically everyone else is overlooking.

So many gloom and doom posts. It's not the close we wanted but overall I like this class. Got a bunch of dogs hungry to make Miami MIAMI again. Unlike Randy and Golden, I'm confident this staff is gonna develop the **** out of these kids and make the most of their potential. Yeah, recruiting rankings aren't worthless, but it ain't **** if you don't develop them. Randy had the #1 class in 2008 and those boys underachieved like a ****. Say what you will about this class being comparable to Golden's classes ON PAPER, but to me that's skewed because most of those kids Golden recruited were never developed properly. We'll never know how good they could've been under a real coaching staff. The future is still bright man. Plain and simple, gotta have a really good year and get double digit wins and at least a Coastal Division title. Do that, and it's more realistic we won't be played by those ELITE DBs coming out in '18.

I wont let kids decisions to go elsewhere affect how I see this class. Take a look at what we did get. This group of linemen looks impressive. We needed an upgrade on O-line and got it. The D-line received some talent as well. We'll be alright!

This class is awesome at OL and DL, really good at QB and WR (if we indeed get Thomas and Harley), solid at LB, but a failure at RB and DB.

Failure at DB is wrong when you consider we signed Bandy, Dean, Carter and Smith who I think is looks ten times better on tape than the two we just lost.

RB I'll give you. I just don't understand why we on;y focused on two guys especially when Whoopi McFarland is a midget with a broken leg and Burns hasn't played since the 4th grade.

But none of the blame on these kids right? I mean they are telling the staff they are coming. I mean we could easily flip some FAU, Temple 2 or 3 star but then we'd biatchin' that we just signed another Al Golden Special.

stop being over-dramatic. it wasnt nearly as good as it ought to be, but it was hardly a fail. fact of the matter is, we wont truly know until these kids step on the field for the next few years.

It was a fail. That doesn't mean the class sucks. Love what we did on the Oline and Dline. Love the QB recruiting. Our WR recruiting if Thomas and Harley sign is great as well. Our LB recruiting is good. I like Bandy, Carter for our DB recruiting. Our class is good and adds depth at positions of need.

But there is nothing wrong with saying Richt failed to reel in two targets. Its not the end of the world. We will be fine.

The reality ufag didnt fix their ****ty qb issue . Radio and mr ed will be gone two years max. Slaton will figure he got lied to and transfer. Hendo will take two years to develop .

Like I said. Comparing segments of classes, UF just barely beats us out at secondary. I'm not sure of what Polendy brings to the table so maybe they have TE. But as far as lines, receiver (if Thomas and Harley come), as well as QB goes I'll take our class hands down.

Rumph and Banda need to lock down 2018 though. Ivey, Frierson and Blades (who should be a lock) are the only ones I count on. But Rumph better land Campbell. That kid said he looks at Rumph like a father figure. Failing to land him would be flagrantly bad. Having said that, at least the American Heritage curse is broken.

By the way, I'm giddy as all **** that Perry is officially a Cane.

Smith is going to be good too and Dean will be solid. Staff obviously will not sign jags. We could have easily flipped a 3 star CB from a lower Power 5 school. They would probably rather put JJ or JJ at CB than sign a JAG.

Get me jeff Thomas and Mike Harley. We addressed every need on the roster outside of rb and db to a certain extent. I'm high on the ability of bandy and dean as well as Robert burns. We just need more numbers there

Missing both db targets sucks, but we will be ok. We got the trenches covered. My guess is that one of them made a really big mistake though. Time will tell.
