i am not saying i am happy about losing kids but this is absurd... a CB prospect is almost never going to make our break us.

mcfarland means the least to me

stud Rb's are all over the place in florida, and especially south florida.

missing out on local kids at positions of big need is a very concerning and continuing trend.

Which is why I'd target more kids. We perpetually undersign. Having S Fla as our recruiting base is a blessing and a curse. It isn't all on the staff. So many of these kids are divas. So the staff needs to realize that and adjust. Target more kids, hit on the same %, and we will finally have full classes of talent.

Pump the brakes. This staff is going into its second year and our class is solid. Yeah, not elite, but it will take time. Defense is where it should be and we have weapons coming in on offense. How long have you been a Canes fan?! Know your programs history, Rome wasn't built in a day.
 
Missing out on four of the top five DB's in South Florida all going to another school and two who were previous commits gives me concern of Rumph's recruiting ability. His coaching seems fine But his ability to recruit top DB concerns me

15th ranked recruiting classes every year should easily win more then 9 games a year, the only reason we haven't been winning more is because of coaching. Which I believe we have upgraded.

However, they are not enough to realistically compete for national championships.

Once we start winning 10+ games our recruiting will improve. 15th ranked classes should easily get us to the point where we win enough to recruit better. Have to take it step by step.
