Canes Camp Report Episode 10

We won 9 games... Can't say we should have lost anything... That being said you can't really brag about the 9 wins when 3 of those games were against USF, FAU and SSU... Those were some extremely bad teams.

same can be said about A&M

I'm not an A&M fan celebrating their 9 wins against week opponents... We virtually remained the same due to our conference record from last year... However, those terrible OOC games helped us attain 9 wins...

every school is going to have those terrible OOC games, im happy he won those and not layed a egg with one of them like the gators

Yes every school has them but not every school is made out to be pretenders by struggling with every conference opponent and then get murdered by any opponent with a pulse... VT, Duke, Louisville and FSU destroyed us... I understand a one point upset but we were destroyed... All those OOC games did was give us a false sense of reality... Nothing to really celebrate about...

The scrimmages confuse me because I'm not sure if I'm supposed to cheer for offense or defense. Any time the offense makes a big play, I'm not sure if it's because the defense messed up or if it's because the offense just made a good play.

I was happy with the victory and notice I didn't include UF as the poor teams we feasted off... However UF had injuries and more losses before we played them... Their injuries started mounting before fall camp... In spite of that I consider it a good win an not a weakling in our OOC games... Anything can happen with instate rivalries... I mean in 08 we gave the eventual champions in UF a hard fought game until the final part of the 4th quarter... Anything can happen in those games... Even in 07 Kirby Freeman led us to victory over FSU... Instate rivalries are different unless you're totally outmatched...

Once again I did not mention them among the weak OOC games that contributed to our 9 wins... I said it was a good victory... SSU, USF and FAU were some really weak opponents... Very good is debatable... i consider very good a 10 win team... they were not a 10 win team due to their offensive draft departures and defensive players... Without the injuries they were probably an 8 win team...

Well, we've got problems, but we have a bunch of bright spots. Tough for even the mopiest of mopes to deny our talent. WR group looks strong and can be among the best if Malc and Scott can get back. Coley is such a ****ing freak of nature.

Duke and Yearby being out looks to have a silver lining. Gus is getting a ton of reps and Tucker looks better than I hoped.

We should have a decent pass rush this year, outstanding compared to the last few years. We still have issues, but dammit man.....I can't help but be excited.

Yes, we DO have some sick talent on the roster and honestly it makes me more sad than anything. Sad at the fact that we have a Jiffy lube crew tuning up our Ferraris.

Dude we get it, you hate this coaching staff. But how many times can you come on this board and say the same **** over and over again? I don't think anyone is happy with last year and I'm pretty everyone has their doubts about Golden and Dnof. But day after day, the same **** comes spewing out of your mouth when some of us are simply commenting on spring practice. You're really coming off like a whiney little ******. Just sayin.

is it just me or does Williams seem to throw a pic in everyone of these camp reports?

I guess you didn't see Coley pull up underneath the route in order to avoid getting hit which caused the INT. What I saw was Williams make about 10 throws that Morris was incapable of making. Dropping throws in in the corners of soft cover 2 zones, reversing out and making throws to his left, throwing down the seem, making perfect throws in the corner of the endzone with touch and most importantly hitting his WRs in stride. But I guess the mopes will see the one throw where it was clearly the WRs fault for pulling up.

I guess you didn't see my previous post alluding to the fact that Williams makes it seem as if we finally have TE's all of a sudden...

I'm no mope, ****head. Im just observing the fact that he has made bad reads and forced several throws in the last several camp report highlights. And although i'm confident he'll be more efficient then his predecessor, and i believe QBs all over the nation are throwing picks in spring scrimmages.... I'm still not convinced he is the answer this year.

How you watched that film of him completing almost every pass on the route tree and complain about the INT, which clearly wasn't his fault proves that you're a mope. If he's not the answer who is this year? Olson? The same kid that was left home from the bowl game and had a **** attitude and work ethic all of last year? He's supposed to just turn it around in a couple of months and lead us? I doubt it. Williams will give this team the best shot with his accuracy and maturity. He can put something on it when he has to but he can change speeds which is a good thing (see Morris). Olsen is at least another year away and might never see the field if Kayaa is as advertised. mope on tho.

Why do you continue to argue UF when I said it was a good victory? You're intentionally going off topic... SSU, USF, and FAU were horrible opponents... Our schedule benefited from having them... UF alone doesn't give us a strong OOC... Those 3 teams have us a false sense of reality... Don't bring up UF again... It was a good victory... SSU, USF, and FAU were bad opponents... I won't event mention USF because that was done like 5 years ago... SSU and FAU were weak opponents that masked a ton of our flaws...

Some of y'all sound like closet FSU, VT, ND, and UF fans the way y'all talk about the program you claim to love. It's an embarrassment. Restating every known negative on a message board ain't going to change a **** thing for the betterment of the program, in fact it's the very opposite.

Golden and staff does not come on here and read some of y'alls Madden/NCAA Football assessments of what needs to be done. With that being said, y'all mopes are simply wanting to look like the smartest porster on this site. Which in turn what you end up doing is feeding the trolls like Genron and Chad Wilson. "Look how the fans view The U. Now get in the car, and let's check out (insert SEC school here), and let you see what the world is like outside of Miami."

Thanks Captain Obvious. But that's not the point and no one is beating their chests.
The point is that everyone plays cupcakes and just cause they do doesn't cheapen their record like you guys are saying it does for Miami.
Obviously we aren't at FSU's level yet. And let me remind you again that FSU was losing to the good and not so good teams as recent as each of the past 2 seasons before this past one when they lost to Wake Forrest(6 -7)and NC State (7-6) and losing to the good teams such as Oklahoma, Clemson, and Florida. And those FSU teams HAD TALENT we wish we had.
