defense is swarming no?
I would say so.
Alot more speed to the football and that's to be expected now that Rodgers, Highsmith, Gaines, and Green (God bless 'em) are off the team. You insert guys like Kirby, Carter, Crawford, Owens, and Muhammad, you get the speed/violence that we are accustomed to in a Miami defense. What we DON'T see is if the mental errors are still prevalent. Those M.E. breakdowns have been the hallmark of this defense over the past 2 seasons. Guys not knowing where to be in a scheme that demands that you know where to be. We won't know any of that until the real bullets start flying in September.
I don't know about MEs, but the violence level seemed higher. That I like, I like it a lot. A violent ME pays dividends later in game. Just delivery pain every play and the toll will weight the other team down. Body blows sucks the air from lungs and that takes energy from legs. You own the 4th from the pain delivered in the 1st three.
