I swear every single year guys say "we look different" and we never actually do.

I fail to see how this team is going to make some huge step forward this season.

It's a challenge trying to be optimistic about an Al Golden led team.

We've had enough player talent to compete in the ACC. We just haven't had enough coaching talent.

Golden has never won more than 9 games, has never won his conference, and has never won a bowl game.

We don't need an elite coach, we just need a competent one.

Once again wrong....

Especially now, we need an elite coach. We used to hire them all the time, until Donna Shalala put a stop to that in favor of yes men who will put grades first.

At some point can we discuss how the team looks in the spring videos without rehashing the same arguments for the hundredth time?

This is a win at all cost program....9-4, 6-6, 7-5, is NOT going to cut it around here. He has two more years to turn it around, if his defense blows again and is the albatross of the team, then the pressure will mount more and more. Personally, I see this defense floundering. Miami was always built off of their speed, overall quickness, and a nasty mean-streak. We have NONE of those things here, we play like Temple or Penn State.

The easiest way to make the fan base excited and positive is to win and recruit well or recruit so well you think you'll win if you have been sucking. It's not hard to figure out. I'll stop being such a critic when they give me something to be excited about, which includes a high quantity and quality of wins.

I know that you're incapable of actually having a civil discussion but tell me what you're trying to do here. Obviously we all know you're feelings are very badly hurt because you (and a few others) feel the need to say the same thing every single day. So now that that's out of the way, do you realize that nothing you say will change anything and can only hurt the program? You do you realize that 99% of this board are not huge fans of Golden and Dfr (including me) right? However, as adults we can compartmentalize our butthurt and actually discuss other parts of the program without digressing into an ignorant mopefest.

Honestly, I don't know one happy or successful person who acts like you do. It is April and you are still ranting and saying the same things that you were saying 4 months ago when you know that Golden isn't going anywhere. What does it say about you when you can't part with your anger long enough to not thave all roads lead to Golden being fat? Btw, I bet you're fat as ****. Anyway, I'll hang up and listen.

Wrong. This program and Golden are not win at all costs.
If they were Golden would have turned a blind eye to the wrong doings of keys guys like Eddie Johnson, Finney and would have bended his rules to appease talented malcontents like Storm Johnson.

Golden is building this the right way which takes more time then the cutting corners approach that if he decided to take would be putting this program at risk by already being under the NCAA lens.

And not sure if you're following spring practice but the guys replacing the Green, Highsmith Gaines, etc look quicker, faster and nastier. But of course when all you do is focus on BS you miss all these things.

Olsen Pierre, Earl Moore, Corey King, and Calvin Heurtelou is our DT depth chart. We'll add Moten and hopefully Wyche in the summer.

We're headed into year 4 and the talent/depth at DT is stil an issue.

Just because you bring in new players doesn't automatically mean the defense will be better.

Play @ 1:24 has a lot of things going on… Good lord at Rashawn Scott **** near killing #48 I think is Delapeha. Also Crawford comes up with that aggression, I like to have dbs like Crawford the feisty, mix it up types. Also look at #58 Owens sets the edge pretty well on Sandland, then kid is completely lost doesn’t know where the ball is lol.

-Owens isnt shirting, and likely takes some time from an upper classmen
-D'Mauri Jones is turning the corner and i slookin glike a d1 wr that will contribute
-Crawford will start at safety, or play alot. He's better than Highsmith or Rodgers in run support already
-Artie is just a player. Kid looks like a gazelle out there at cb
-Dorsett in a one on one running a fly you can strike up the band...its over. We gotta hit on atleast 5-6 deep bombs to him this yr.
-#30 Deandre Johnson has speed, legit speed. He'll contribute on specials atleast, Walter Tucker is also fast.

This offense likely has better production this year imo...because i can see less of a need for the bomb and more screens implemented..and quick screens, roll outs ,etc.
