Hey Fam,

There's way too much time in the offseason so I made my compilation of my all-time Canes NFL Roster with starter, backup, and 3rd string / practice squad at every position. This is based SOLELY on their NFL production and not what they did in college. This should end any argument with your buddies about which program would beat any other if you had to use only alumni from one school. Do you guys see any positions differently? BOLD = HOF. Parenthesis = (NFL Games Started / Pro Bowls / 1st Team All Pro)

Great list and I'm nitpicking here but Feliciano really only started 8 games? Denzel Perryman might need to be added soon as well.

OK, if you are supposedly basing this off of NFL production, why are you ignoring Brett Perriman in favor of...Allen Hurns and Lamar Thomas? Are you f-cking kidding me?

And you are ignoring Chuck Foreman and Warren Williams at RB?

At DT, how can you overlook Rubin Carter?

And let's not forget Ronnie Lippett at CB and Burgess Owens at S.

Man our lineup of linebackers is downright special. Same with wideouts. Great job with this. And wow Ray was an all-pro 7 times? Incredible. And also why jimmy over shockey?

Jimmy over Shockey could be splitting hairs. I'm solely basing it on his efficiency in the years played but could easily go the other way. The beauty of our Canes is that we could have that argument over a half dozen positions. The fact we're so deep with such quality at multiple positions blows my mind.

That's a really good, objective list...Kudos...Job well done...I am gonna second the dude who said you missed out on Chuck Foreman....In a relatively short career, Foreman was a 5 time pro bowler, 2 time first team all pro, 2 time second team all pro....

When I was a little whippersnapper, I wanted to be just like Chuck Foreman and I patterned my running style after him...couldn't have told the difference between us....except I was white, 3'7" and 74 lbs....

Great Work!
I think you underrated Jerome Brown he was a Monster and would be in the Pro Hall of Fame had he not died. I think you also underrated Ottis Anderson Dude was a Beast at running back.
JB was ST situation. Two straight first team all pro seasons before untimely death. No reason to treat them differently.

Some old timers are under appreciated. Eddie Edwards, Gary Dunn, Jim Burt, Dan Connor, e.g.

Would Steve Walsh get the nod over Erickson?
Vernon has done better than Kennard Lang (sat with Lang and Carlos Jones for postseason team event, very quiet table).
Most of Antrel's work was at CB, I would have Marion above him for the work against the Fins alone (LOL).
A shame Perriman and Hankerson are not at least Practice Squad invites.
Maybe personal preference, but I would have J Brown ahead of Maryland. Can't count death as a knock (see your Taylor positioning).
Doesn't Seantrel play DT?
KC Jones should be 2nd team Center

Ok, carry on...

Yo - no need to get hostile. Your points are well taken and those are misses by me. I grew up in the 80s so my memory of some of those guys is either fuzzy or non-existent. But I'm sure when you take the time to make your own list, you'll be perfect and spot-on at every position.

Notice how 5 of the 15 offensive lineman played here in the last 10 years. And yet fans say we can't recruit offensive line

Just cause they are on an All Cane list doesnt mean they are good in the NFL...just means we have sh1tty Oline

Great compilation.
(y)

Armstead (129/1/5) ahead of Beason.
Throw in old-timer LB Dan Conners (110/0/3) for practice squad consideration with Beason.

Need to find room for Foreman and Perriman as well.

You need to shut the fvck up. There was no "hostility". And there's no need for you to condescend about "when I take the time to make my own list". I've been living this Cane life for decades. Clearly, you have some NFL HoF'ers (Mad Stork, Otto), so stop acting like you are incapable of doing the research. You're not that much younger than I am, and you have access to Google. Meanwhile, you have less than 100 posts, you have no idea of whether I've made my own lists, and you act like you want everyone to give you a cookie for what you did.
