Can we call a Spade a Spade on Bubba Bolden?

Y’all make a good point about having no help beside him and the coaching being terrible. But film don’t lie. Unless you making hella plays at the los, you’re not a good safety if you can’t cover imo.

Bolden is horrible against the pass, and it's too late for that to change.

He's ok in run support, but that's not good enough to be an every down player in P5.
 
Bolden only played one quarter against Bama so thats a moot point.

Again, its impossible to judge him based on the fact that his counterpart is playing so awful he probably feels like he has to do everything back there. Only Sean Taylor could overcome from having such a pathetic wing man.

Unfortunately, we will never get to see how good he really could have been because he never played next to a Jaquan Johnson or Jamal Carter. Im not saying Bolden is an AA candidate. But hes nowhere near as bad as he is looking right now. Nfl scouts must agree because again, the one Barry J spoke to said he is only one of about 2 players on the whole team who could sniff an NFL roster.

Exactly. Imagine Ray Lewis or Morgan in this system. They don’t become the stars that they were.

I agree the system sucks. I don’t agree he’s as good as you think. Díaz did him no favors.

I still believe bolden is a good player that will have a nfl future, but someone already said it, with decent LB play we wouldn’t be burning bubba. I haven’t lost faith on kid, Hall should be benched.
 
The problem isn’t Bubba, it’s the fans. Okay he dude ain’t ST or ER20. And that’s okay, because NO ONE is. He’s an average safety who is overrated by fans.

On a team full of bad tacklers he might be thee worst. Our Safeties never make plays on the ball in the passing game either.
Why is he so hyped? Before the season i heard some ppl saying he could go 2nd round. I don't see that at all!

The whole “Saban flew a helicopter” thing is overplayed IMO. Saban probably recruits 100+ kids every year and for all we know, Hall was a plan C kid.

All I know is Saban usually gets who he wants. It’s not like this kid was Patrick Peterson even in high school

Hall was a high 4 star and was highly coveted. Sagan doesn’t fly on a heli for just any recruit. Especially early on in the cycle like with Hall.
