Very similar records first 4 years, dreadful against ranked teams in first 20 games, and being saved by a straight beast of a QB...MSU waited til year 6.. I know they don't have the recruiting base, but also Mullen never dealt with self imposed bowl bans and 2 years of uncertainty..

I ask because I find it funny how everyone wants and loves Mullen now..

Did Dan Mullen make key adjustments to support staff or philosophy during those first 6 years? I know a lot of you might roll your eyes but I think this brings up a good point. I know Al is blindly bound to Dorito but it's normal human behavior to notice what other successful people are doing and want to emulate that. It happens in sports all the time!

Jesus f'n Christ.

I'm not trying to buy him time or benefit of the doubt...I know there's a lot Of momentum in the way of getting him out of here. So I appreciate the fact that you may not like thoughts or comments that may imply him staying here. And I figured that would happen. But it legitimate question especially given the fact that mullen is a hero now to so many people and you have Florida wanting the guy; what's different about him all of a sudden?

Mullen has turned Miss State into a threat in the SEC. That's an uphill battle. Golden has managed to make Miami worse. Are we seriously doing this?

Here is what's different. Miami has won 5 national titles and is located in an area that head coaches kill each other over, trying to recruit. Mississippi State has won less SEC titles than Tulane, and Tulane left the SEC in 1966. Need I say more? Because I can.

Al is Carl Selmer and Richie Kotite. Al is a **** sandwich. How much more proof do you need that he sucks?

I think you're trying to say that it took Mullen 6 years to make chicken salad out of chicken sh** but AG had real chicken meat all along but had no idea how to make simple chicken salad, right?

Something like that, though I hate chicken salad.
