Al can't even be Randy
Only because at least Randy attempted to make changes because he knew he wasn't doing a good job based on what the expectations were.

Forget Al Golden. Dude sucks. That comparison should have never been made.
But the thing about Mullen is right. Dude was a corch ten months ago. There was no yearly improvement in his first five years. This is one of those years where everything comes together for a program: experienced QB playing well, favorable schedule, tons of upperclassmen, etc. This is the type of program that has a Cinderella season and then hits 7-5 the very next year, right where they always are.

First and foremost comparing Miss St to Miami in the first place is laughable.
I agree with everything you've been saying, until favorable schedule. For the last 3 games, they've played @LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn. If Golden went through that schedule he'd tell you that this was the hardest schedule in the history of football (even though it's just a rough stretch).
How many Stars from Ole Miss or MSU are homegrown though?Mississippi actually is one of the highest per capita producers of D1 talent.

Right, apples to apples because they've played very similar schedules.Very similar records first 4 years,.
