Cam Ward is HIM

I can’t go there. Mahomes arm is in a world very few humans live in.
Mahomes is Jordan, dude is just different. It's not even fair to compare Cam or any other QB to him, because it's unlikely that anyone will ever have that same exact skillset and physical talent.

Cam had a great game, I just hope that Dawson talks to him about not forcing the action. That INT was uncalled for, Cam had an easy first down if he runs, that pass had a low success probability.

😂😆😂😆😂😆😂😆

Hate to say it, but he reminded me of his dad. Charlie.

Walking out of bounds after a scramble is so disrespectful. Love it.
It was those finer details with his body language that shocked me. That had to infuriate the gator coaches and players, intensely. Some real mamba **** he did to the gaytors bro, this man is special beyond belief.

I had the privilege of speaking to Kobe Bean a couple of times b4 he passed away on my b-day tragically. They were very brief interactions, but he said this both publicly & privately that the shots he takes in game r the shots he practices over & over.

When Cam dimed up George, that wasn’t just arm talent, I saw a guy who was comfortable in that moment b/c he practiced that moment over & over again. Ppl r enamored w/ Steph Curry making circus shots or Mahomes making crazy passes, & no one appreciates the amount of time they practice these things. My concern w/ TVD was reports on CIS stated bro didn’t even have some of the WRs #’s.

Meanwhile, Cam is out here dining the OL & constantly working w/ the WRs. Cam has a chip on his shoulder, & he plays into it. Outstanding game 1. The only thing I want to sss him clean up is his propensity to hold on to the ball & throwing back across the field. UF maybe in the SEC, but Billy Napier is much worst of a coach than I could ever imagine. I can’t see him returning unless UF make an improbable, inconceivable run. Regardless, on the road in a rivalry game, Cam couldn’t have introduced himself to American any better.

Again, as I’ve said all off season, w/ this roster & this QB1, it would be asinine to think we couldn’t win at least 10 games barring any major injuries, which would be Ward at this point.

The best part is, he’s going to find fault in this. Multiple throws behind guys. Threw a pick. Couple of times he drifted backwards too much. I know it’s nitpicking, but he will do it to himself. It’s amazing to me, he can have a game like that and actually leave some meat on the bone!
The sky truly is the limit with this dude! Don’t remember a time I was this excited about the canes. There were plenty of years I felt like we might be good, but I’ll admit it, even at 10-0 in 17 I felt like it was a bit of smoke in mirrors. This definitely felt different with Ward back there.
You could see him doing it to himself during the game. He was locked on his tablet and had to be told it was halftime at one point.

Bruh. Last time we had a QB who makes that play?

Gonna say a whole lot of never ever. Feel pressure. Escape left, buy time, still falling left and throw a 37 yard frozen rope that hits our receiver directly in the chest on a dead run. **** me that’s beyond good.
Vinny as long as it’s not against Penn St?

In fairness to Ward, he had like 3 or 4 more of those passes that went for completions. That INT was also the result of it being tipped which can happen on any pass. I know we want to protect the ball but I’ll live with the occasional miscue to celebrate TDs like the one to Jacolby

Agreed. Not to bring up the uh…last guy…but I think as fans you live with the tough breaks when a QB is consistently aggressive while under control. It was never INTs with the last guy…it was how they were going down

It was close to being another play where we just go oh man this dude is different

im going on record now, he will be the number 1 pick in next years draft.

the sidearm and across the body **** makes fans nervous but nfl scouts are gonna be hammering the mahomes comparisons i guarantee it

i'm a panthers fan so its what led me to the comparison, but the only other QB I've ever seen that's this nonchalant while playing is Cam Newton

nevermind the same first name and same jersey number, but cam newton would **** off the whole world (outside of panther fans) for not taking the game too seriously, laughing while playing, non chalant, etc.

cam ward plays as close to that as I've seen from anyone
