Its not elite PLAYERS as in they were developed & became elite. It's elite RECRUITS y'all are speaking on. I believe they had two elite recruits on the defense.

5 top100 players drafted in the 2025 draft, 7 in total

So 20 players drafted the last 2 years, 12 of them top100, 7 top50.

Well I'm always up for enlightenment so please educate me. Far as I remember that 2023 team had ONE CONSENSUS 5 STAR ON THE ENTIRE TEAM. That was Damon Payne. Who wasn't even a recruit they signed out of high school & he was a 2021 kid. The word ELITE has value. I'd assume to be ELITE they should be consensus 5 stars right? Ain't got nothing to do with where someone was drafted or anything else other than a consensus high school ranking. Cause y'all were speaking on recruits...

Hope I’m wrong, but don’t see us locking down any elite five star WR. Maybe one day that will change, I can’t wait for the day to come. Thinking we’ll need some top 10 five star quarterback to get that trend going.
