Butch talking QBs on ESPN

Bottom line, Butch was Wanny's caddy. He took orders from him. He was his boss. Dallas with Butch as DC won 2 SB - jimmy and Wanny's talent and system. Wanny won 2 national titles. Butch only one stint as DC in career, otherwise a position coach. Jimmy hired Wanny after Dallas as DC. Unless a slurper stuck in the past it's fairly obvious who has superior resume as DC.

Post photos of Butch caddying for Wannstedt or STFU.

Then if Butch won two SB's with Wannsestedt's talent, then the football team Butch put together, who got cheated our of a NC in 2000, then Butch gets credit for the 2001 NC, and gets credit for only losing one game in 2002 - which except for a bad call - should have been Butch's second NC.

Let's see. Butch as DC - 2 Superbowls.

Butch as HC - "three" National Championships.

Wannstedt - 2 NC's as DC.

Something wrong with your arithmetic.

Maybe you want to watch THE U Part 2. You'll learn something, sonnyboy.

Sorry, Butch playing the role of Wanny's caddy is figurative. Just like the expression of carrying the water for a superior. It's what one does for their boss or superior - Butch for Wanny and now Melvin for Dorito. Again, facts shouldn't be too hard to swallow. Divest of emotion and just compare resumes. No contest.

Yes they are, and it's clear Butch is a much better Head Coach.

Choke on it.

Sorry pal, if you check the initial and on-going conversation it dealt soley with DC and Wanny's more impressive resume overseeing defenses. Again, facts can be tough to swallow and don't lie.

Fine, Wannstedt has a longer tenure as a DC.

Butch is a better Head Coach. By a damned sight.

And won two Superbowls as a DC - as in getting more done in less time. Efficiency.

Nothing wrong with Wannstedt as a DC. Just that Butch has won more than Wannstedt.

Butch put together the best staff throughout. They are now or have been head coaches in both the NFL and colleges.

Not only can he once again build a great team, he'd put together the best staff as well in another run here.

Who out there now can beast that!? An up and comer? GTFOH

Yeah, can't argue with his staff. Really deserves credit for his John Blake hire at UNC. And, according to scouts on the staff, propping up Pete Garcia in Cleveland was also a thing of genius.

Speaking of Qbs, it's hard to believe that last year at this time, we were debating whether a true freshman or a Kansas washout should start for us at Loiusville. Crazy.
