As I posted on another thread it's amazing how much a guy who was last coach in 2000 is discussed on this site. I can't imagine that any other fanbase is super obsessed with a coach 16 years after his departure.

That was 8 years ago not 16. And anybody who believes Fulmer's firing was unjustified forgets how much of a corch he was at the end of his career. There's a reason why Fulmer couldn't land a single job after he was fired- and it wasn't for lack of effort. Fulmer couldn't even land a bottom of the barrel FBS job like Coker could and now Butch can.

I like Richt, but I don't want to win 9 or 10 games a year against mid to lower programs and lose games that matter. We didn't get Butch and Richt is who he is but what I thought he would do, is immediately improve our offense and recruiting; both have been worse.
Butch is a master evaluator, recruiter and developer. That is exactly what we need.
