I'll never understand your inability to give Butch Davis the God the respect he quite obviously deserves for the monumental feat he achieved here at UM.

Even the former Canes that actually played for him (unlike yourself) were excited about this hire and went out of their way to reach out to him and congratulate him.

a friend i have who was recruited by butch, played under him and coker tried to tell me Butch had a great run at miami but he is 65 and also the game has changed alot. he said he thinks he would figure it all out but it would take a couple years. i asked him opinion on richt, he said "im done giving opinions, i want to see wins."

A friend of mine who is an NFL Hall of Famer told me Davis is a bum who is going to flop like a grouper on a dock. My friend was a better player than your friend, so his opinion and my post are more telling than yours.

What a weak set of stats...when he got to UNC he took over a program with very little tradition and no winning attitude. When he left they were beating us EVERY year. That's the only stat I care about.

they were lucky to win 5 games a year and had no recruiting base.

He made a massive **** up by leaving us and these are the unfortunate consequences of that decision. A low expectation program like FIU is great for Butch to bounce back
