Real talk; can we stop going after each other’s throats?

@Brooklyndee & @Coach Macho r two of the most solid dudes on this board and several things that have been said by them came to fruition well b4 it was even reported. Macho went as far to show screen shots of personal conversations.

I get it; yes this board has been plagued by trolls or cats that throw chit against the wall. I can unequivocally vouch for Dee as he’s shared info w me, off this main board, that’s come to fruition.

Look man; the real anger needs to be directed at this admin, Richt, and these punk trolls that stroll through. I’m angry about this season and how the season ended last yr. I’m angry at this cavalier attitude by Richt and his anointed QB. That IPF don’t mean chit w/o the right people operating it. I hope Richt makes a change or show some passion for his supposed alma mater. However if change don’t come, he’s in the same boat as Golden to me.

@Rellyrell, I agree with everything in your post. I don’t know any of you guys, but what I do know is that I’m a die hard Canes fan that wants to see the University and the program back on top. And the way it’s being run that’s not happening anytime soon. Will changes be made to right the ship, time will tell ... and soon.
The product on the field does not match that of a top tier team. I’m crossing my fingers that something POSITIVE will get done in the off season, because there’s a lot of money being wasted while we wait. This football program if used properly, will generate a whole lot of cash, there’s enough to go around.
GO CANES!!

Paul Dimare is our largest and most influential booster and is a member of our Board of Trustees who are part of coaching searches etc

And this is a big part of our problem. We have this team of admin who are responsible for:

1. 4 straight unnecessary extensions,
2. 3 straight atrocious hires,
3. 3 straight buyouts, and
4. ~15 years since our last truly relevant season

Perhaps if they actually brought in the right AD and then removed themselves from the equation, we might have actual success.

Bring in a competent, passionate AD and give them autonomy.

I mean...

I coached a kid who's the all-time leader in starts at UM...
I have buddies who coach at Cardinal Gibbons, Chaminade, American Heritage, STA, Deerfield, etc...
A kid I coached is friends with several players...
I get second hand info from a guy who works in the football building...
And I myself coach several highly recruited kids who are friends with other highly recruited kids around the area...

I'm not an insider by any means (never claimed to be) but it's not unbelievable that I come across information from time to time. I'm sure as **** more plugged in than these dorky writers y'all listen to.

From what I've read of your posts in my short time on here Coach, you've obviously been a SFL HS coach for some time. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that in your time as a coach, you've made many connections with both players and coaches. Also, and not to seem like I'm sucking a big one, to be a HS coach in SFL dealing with teenagers has to be challenging to say the least. Whatever your motivation, kudos to you for taking on that challenge and sharing the info you do here despite the naysayers.

(edit- I was raised in Opa Locka and eventually went to Norland, but spent decades in NJ and moved back to No. Fla. 3 years ago. Needless to say, the "Garden State" (NJ) raised their own 'matoes.)
Where I live, they're called maters and eaten like apples.

So now Richt doesn’t call plays bc he’s on a headset? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Mark Richt calls the plays period...he may get front 7 info, coverage info, or defensive substitution info through the head sets & he calls a play based on that information but Mark Richt calls the plays...period.

Y’all gotta stop this got **** lying

If Brown and Dugans don't have an ego problem, they'd be fine with Richt hiring an innovative offensive mind. Soak in everything this guy knows for a couple of years than move onto another school to be an OC. It's more than apparent that right now what's going on isn't working and is completely broken.

I trust Dee on his insight regarding potential (or already happening) locker room turmoil. If we as a fanbase are beyond ****ed, how about the guys that are losing money like Jeff Thomas and want to win (like MJ and Jaquan coming back for their senior seasons)?

For the millionth time the issue with the offense is SCHEME not playcalling. I don't care who's calling the plays when Richt's scheme is fundamentally broken. Sean McVay and Sean Payton couldn't salvage this scheme without input on system, play design and philosophy.

Carry on...
So as a baseball player who's a casual football fan... straight question not trying to start an argument. Even I'm starting to see how predictable the offense is.. same **** over and over. Does a better qb.. and maybe some better ol play, make this a workable scheme? I'm trying to grasp what the thought process is in running those same failing plays. Would that **** work with a better qb? Not a deshaun watson type, just one of the middle ground acc qb's who seem to be able to hit players in stride against Miami. Y'all dudes that really know football, how bad is execution hurting this offense?
