The billionaire is running the show, and I don’t see him backing down. The question is whether Sorsby can hold up under the pressure because he just became enemy #1 in the college sports world.
 
Late to this, so if I’m missing something…

Sorsby gets a hometown Judge to rule in his favor.

SEC is mad and wants to boycott TT.

Ole Miss got a hometown Judge to give Chambliss another year of eligibility.

But there is no hypocrisy or irony here?

And no, I don’t think Sorsby should be eligible.

I think it’ll get to the point that it’s too bad for his brand. He doesn’t gaf about Sorsby outside the lines.

There is no honor. But you just can’t green-light gambling. Something like this probably necessary to get some real structure around this **** show of a business, which is one reason why Tech and its billionaire will probably fold. They like the status quo and may be responsible for blowing it up.

So, no beer or other alcohol ads as well? Most players are under 21 and can't drink.

I agree with you, the optics of accepting advertising money from gambling companies are absolutely horrible. Not only the NCAA, but the NFL, MLB, NBA, and other sports organizations would not have official links with any gambling sites if it were up to me.

That being said, the most important tenet of any sports organization is to keep its participants out of sports gambling, especially on their own sport.
 
I called the outcome & said dude will 100% be playing this fall as soon as I saw this headline.. the NCAA is complete joke 🤷🏾‍♂️
 
If he plays we can refuse targeting suspensions.

And bring back Artie Burns RayShawn Jenkins and Duke Johnson. All free agents in shape and 1.5 would be more than they’d get in the NFL. Because why tf not.

Seriously, how much is Sorsby and his handlers laughing about the distance he is getting for this "mental health" excuse?

It seems to me that most schools are angry at Texas Tech, and not Miami as DMoney predicted.

I agree with you. It's not like major college athletics isn't making money without gambling ad revenue. They are just too greedy and now many of them are trying to act like they have morals over money. It's too late now. You are what you are. We even have Georgia saying they won't schedule TT in any sports. How long do you think that fake morality will last? It won't last past the next big payday.
