Brad kaaya and the sacks from this year

Not sure why but I definitely misread this thread title as "Kaaya sucks this year."

From Heisman Watch List and Top 5 NFL pick to Worst QB Ever.

Yep. It's all his fault. That's what normally happens to a third year starting QB when he's coached up in a great offense.

He was garbage last year, this heisman watch list bs was something guys like you made up on this site smh

He was far from garbage last year. In fact if our defense wasn't as bad as our o is this year, we probably win 10 games easily

LMAOOO oh ok smh yall are delusional... Kaaya was terrible last year. The same issues that are obvious now, were just as obvious then. 16 TDs is garbage, he choked in every game that mattered, his pocket presence was just as horrible as it is this season, he was just as scary as he is now, he was just as terrible in any meaningful situation in a fb game just like this season (red zone, 2nd downs, 3rd downs, 4th downs, 3rd quarters, 4th quarters etc etc) and was just as terrible passing accurately beyond 5 yards just like this year.

I don't know what sort of dream you all were living in last fb season but Brad Kaaya somehow being good or "Heisman" caliber last year is far from reality.

I didn't say he was a heisman candidate last year but he sure as **** wasnt garbage. He did more than enough to win all of our conference game excluding Clemson and UNC. You're giving way too much credit to golden's defense. Throwing for over 400 and two tds is not choking against FSU. If that's the case then, then every qb in the country is a choke artist. You are using emotional reasoning and not logic. Just revealing how hurt you are and are desperately looking for any scapegoat or reason for why our offense has struggled more this year than in previous years. When you use logic instead of thinking with your heart, you will notice there is only one major change from last years offense and this years.

Yeah the oline is bad but you also got to remember Brad kaaya has dealt with a potential knee injury in the app state game, shoulder injury from fsu and im pretty sure he had something with that hit from Thomas in that game. On top of that 3 games in 12 days is tough for anyone. Brad hasn't been all the way healthy this year which could possibly have lead to him being not as elusive in the pocket. Just look at last year we had pressure all the time in the backfield last year but Brad wasn't getting hit like this and was able to do enough movement in the pocket to get the ball out. Losing sucks and I hope we bounce back because kaaya is a good kid and he wants to do well for this university man... seriously this is our qb right now and we got to stand behind him. Kaaya has showed when given time he can make the throws

He has never been elusive.

Being elusive in the pocket doesn't mean running for 10 to 15 when a play breaks down.what I was trying to say look we know he is not the most athletic but last year kaaya found ways to get the ball out faster and avoid some pressure, that hasn't happened this year

But that's the problem with him....he has to **** near have everything perfect in the pocket to be effective over the long haul. He gives absolutely nothing to this team from a running threat and that is catching up to him and this offense. When your O-line is below average and your QB is worse (as it relates to running) then your offense will have huge problems.

Franchise doesn't seem to understand that it's all a domino affect with this offense currently. MR knows this offense and it's personnel fully, and knows what he needs to do to keep them afloat. Franchise can run around yelling about how shtty MR is as an OC but he always fails to acknowledge that there isn't much to work with. When your O-line is this weak it pulls the rest of the offense down to a low level over the course of a season. Get better O-lineman and watch this offense take off. Get a game changer at RB and watch this offense take off. Get a QB who can run (even if just enough) and watch this offense take off. They aren't good enough to give BK a perfect pocket to throw from consistently, and part of that is that he gives zero threat to the run game.

True, I don't understand how kaaya isn't more of an athlete though. Before he came to Miami, the summer of his senior year I thought he would be a qb who had an arm and can run it too. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Kaaya needs to run more, Brady took off several times for first downs last game and we know he is probably the least athletic qb in football

And result players like Bad Company only play the results. Our QB sucks and our OL sucks because the offense is epically bad.

Same guys thought our DL sucked before this year because the results were so bad. They even gave birth to the "can he play DT" tired line because they were convinced our DL was useless because of the terrible results of our D. They were even trashing Denzel Perryman on CIS.

It's not all his fault. He should've been sacked 4 times, not 8.

His lack of awareness/mobility inside the pocket is a huge problem.

Perryman was good af at Miami , scary how he much better our defense would have been if they played in a better scheme

Kaaya's longest run of the season is 2 yards. 2015 it was 9 yards (2tds). 2014 it was 5 yards (1 td).

Rick should design a few QB draws where he tells Kaaya to drop back and look run first. There were several wide open chasms in VT's pass rush lanes. Brian London could run through some of those chasms for 5 yards and slide. That would keep the pass rush a little more honest.

Rick needs to limit the options he's giving Kaaya. Kaaya might be a bright guy who makes all the right checks in practice. But he's obviously shook right now and not processing information quickly. Rick needs to show more situational awareness of what his players are capable of in games.

Yearby is another example of his lack of during game feel. There's no way Walton should be getting starter reps over him. Yet they get into a mechanical rotation with those 2. And if you're looking for a homerun hitter give Homer a few carries. He's not redshirting.

Lol at never running for 10 yards once in his career and expecting to win. DB's turn their back to him and sprint down the field because he's such a slow piece of ****

You can look at BK and realize he isn't much more than an average QB at this point. Same goes for the OL. There is no hidden agenda for either one, and the same goes for the collection of RB's on this roster. Good solid kids, but none of them are game changers. MR was used to having game changers on his roster at GA. I happen to believe that he is calling the game because of what he sees on that side of the ball.

Yeah sure Miami might have one or two kids play in the NFL off that line, but the unit as a whole is weak. Those weak spots have a way of showing up consistently during the season. BK is a **** statue back that at QB. His play offers up no signs of leadership or gives off a hint of carrying his team to victory. We all know he only has one way to beat you, through the air. Quite frankly he isn't very good at that right now. If you are going to be a QB who has one dimension to your game, then you **** well be very good at it. He AINT right now.

Nobody was claiming our DL wasn't very good. They all knew the style of play was a terrible scheme to start with. Quite the opposite with the offense currently. MR knows he has average to below average kids on the offensive side of the ball as a whole, so he calls the game accordingly. MD and AG were just bad coaches with worse schemes.

That's also the play where he got tapped on the side of the foot and fell down if I'm not mistaken.
