Nope, I still think that honor goes to the great Fran Curci, who took the 1972 team up to South Bend and held Ara Parseghian to ten points while he could only muster 7. Had Foreman as a tailback, too. Ran all over the Irish. Instead of going for the win at the end of the game, Curci went for the tying field goal and the moral victory.
