Welp obviously not on the field where he should have been. What kinda question is that (rhetorical, please don't answer).

I don't have time for blindness and mindless followers. Sorry I fell into it. Have a happy Thanksgiving and good night, friend.
Kid got himself suspended for that game. Not sure how people are forgetting that.

And before we destroy Richt for being too trigger happy about suspensions let’s not forget Perry did it to himself. I’m a huge Perry > Rosier guy but wow did people quickly get over the Perry Video situation. Perry was getting obliterated here and now suddenly we are back on the “shoulda started against LSU” bull****

From what I was told, their aer

I was told that the aeronautical program is one of the top-75 in the country. I believe that they have a wind tunnel, which sets them apart from other schools. It is supposedly an area of focus (top-3 on their agenda). They need capital to attract top professors in other engineering fields, though. People now wish to live in Miami, but salaries for engineering professors are currently exorbitant.

Medical Center seems to be "under control", though, buying that hospital was a mistake. In "the long run, the UM hospital will be a huge benefit", but in terms of management hours (i.e. Donors devoting professional time to rectifying the financial malaiase........) and sheer capital, they should not have acquired it when they did.

They do not seem too concerned about the football program. They are panicked about the law school.

Yes, they do have a wind tunnel. It is sub-sonic. One think he likes is the program is small so he will know every professor in the department. The controls professor owns his own aircraft that he modified. My understanding from his brother who is also a professor at Miami he takes up the seniors. Considering my son is on AFROTC scholarship and wants to be a fighter pilot I'm sure he will get to fly with him.

Interestingly enough, I sat next to Dean of the FIU Engineering School back in January. Was telling him my son was choosing between USAFA and UM at the time. He said he was starting to poach engineering professors from Miami or he was actively pursuing.

I did not even realize that FIU had an engineering program..... UM needs to bolster engineering and not allow it to decline. The competition from FIU hopefully accelerates UM's resolve....

Your son is going to be exceedingly successful. That academic field will uniquely position him for the future. Millenials are eschewing STEM and those that pursue said fields will prosper commensurately in coming decades. When he concludes his Air Force responsibilities , he will be uniquely positioned economically. Very smart kid!

It's always great to get away from the football for a bit and hear what Pentagon Cane's Son is doing...Yeah, still gunning for him to be an AFIT/TPS guy; we need the brainpower and experience running our USAF up to the mid-century point.
