Bo Scarbrough 2014 RB with supposed UM Interest?

So Bo Scarborough isnt elite b/c he's not from SFL?

Great point because IMG Academy played a heavy S. Fla schedule this year and Bo Scarbrough ran wild against the south florida talent.

Just read that IMG Academy costs between $56,000 and $66,000 per year...with NO scholarships. How is Bo paying for this?

From Tuscaloosa, committed to Bama, and we stand a chance how?

Good question, I always wondered the same thing. I know a couple weeks ago one of our coaches showed up to his game and rumor has it Bama wants him a to play LB but he wants to play RB but I'm not sure if I'm buying into it. You never know with recruiting though, if he ever visits, then I'll think we have a chance. Until then I'm not getting my hopes up.

I wouldn't count on it but if we keep winning who knows if they visit.

Not to mention Bama just signed like 4 or 5 RB's last class that were all 4 or 5 stars. Probably why they're talking LB for him. They have other RB's besides those freshman too.

Bama told Derrick Henry he would get a shot at RB and he is practing as a H-back, so Scarbrough is smart to look around cause he will not sniff a down carrying the ball at Bama.

Also I think IMG gave a lot of football players scholarships to come a play for them inorder to stack the team with talent. This way they would a winning season and attract future kids to the prep school.

What is wrong with that? Many teams do that. Plus if I am a player and I see their facility's(http://www.imgacademy.com/about-img-academy/our-facilities) Yea I would wanna go there too. I do not know one private school who doesn't give out scholarships to kids to play there. And the parents aren't gonna wanna turn down a free education from a private school.

Yeah certainly none of that going on in South Florida, right?

I'm pretty sure any private school who believe athletics is important does this. Even the schools who don't think so, the coaches, boosters, alumni etc. still try to get those kids in with basic scholarships. I have no proof of it but I'm sure at least 1 kid on St. Thomas Aquinas probably got a scholarship to go there.

They give scholarships. Probably labeled as financial aid

I wonder who pays to go school there

Most of the kids.(baseball,Bolitary academy, maybe a couple of the basketball players,etc.... My parents sent me there for my senior year. Was recruited so I got about 15 percent of tuition and everything else covered. Jr Murphy(committed to um for baseball), Casey mulholland, etc..... I would see Brian Poole corner for Florida up at the facility before they had the full blown football program training. Alot of top recruits trained there already before they had the football team.

Wish I would've went there all 4 years of HS, looking back on it.

His mom lives in FL with him and loves it. In fact, word is she loves SOUTH FL more.

They apparently want nothing to do with Alabama anymore. Smart woman.

I work at IMG and I see Bo around campus on a daily basis. Kid is very polite and is always answering yes sir and no sir. Would love to see him play for the U. Might have to talk to My buddies in the football dept and see if there is any chance of him flipping.

Whatever happen to this guy?

Bama article I read when there was some smoke about him taking a visit. If you goggle his name, you'll get some articles on it.

Not a source persay, but it's not unusual for some IMG kids to have their parents live close to the facility. There's actually really NICE places parents can buy/rent that are owned/leased by IMG. Really close to the academy. Seemed like alot of the girls had parents living close.
