This is clever framing. I met with my boss today and was not told I was being fired either. You are only told you are fired in the meeting in which you are actually fired. If we accept either the buyout or Mario Pac12 title game scenarios, he is not being fired till later this week or next week. So him not being told he is fired today is indicative of nothing.
