Big Baby to the portal

After watching him in the spring game it’s apparent he needs to find a school for his level of play.

With how short he is, I’m surprised he lasted this long. I think he’d do well at a small D2 or D3 school.

A lot of this had to do with Covid lockdowns. There just wasn’t much in person evaluation that could go on. I think a lot of guys were incorrectly evaluated.

bIG bABY WASNT 1 OF THEM.

He just was 1 of the guys that like some poster stated he has almost been the same height since 7th grade. Had he gained about 2 inches with the gained arm length he wouldve been more than a depth piece because the functional strength and technique is actually there with him.

Just became the guy that peaked early. But 100 percent he still gets an offer. ALLLL of the current dl on the team and passed he beat on in front of um coaches
 
I totally understand him wanting out so I don’t blame him but who are our second team guards? We’re already trotting out Cristobal as the second team center.

When asked who his "6th" is, Mirabal said Samson. Point blank. But, that's on the outside.

On the interior, he took a bit longer to answer, but then said Logan.

I'd imagine someone link Kinsler is a candidate to play before someone like Seymour.

Curious what they have in mind for Mccoy, who they really like and have supposedly considered playing in other spots (not just Tackle).

Yeah. We’re surprisingly deep at tackle but guard, especially with Rivers playing LT falls off a cliff after the first team

Even with Seymour here I think you would’ve seen Francis or Rivers move inside with Samson or McCoy replacing them at tackle in the event of an interior injury. I think Kinsler could likely fill in at both as well. Don’t think Seymour would have seen the field this year unless we had as many injuries as last year.

Wonder if they ever gave it a thought to play him on the interior DL.

If memory serves, I remember you being equally frustrated at times in Year 1 of CMC era. And that concerned me. We were all pretty ****ed off, for good reason. The performance on the field and sidelines was at times enraging.

But to see you now constantly dropping informative posts reflecting the views from a former player, who knows the game annd what it takes to win… and someone who sees things internally with a unique view but still thinks for himself - is super encouraging.

Like, if these coaches were duds I think you’d be the kind to express that.

You, @Cribby and @Memnon spit truth _ no matter the consequence. The rest is just noise and squabbling.

What happened to Denis? They’re not ideal. But Sagapolu and Denis are better options than Seymore would have been.

Best scenario is Zion is fully healthy by end of camp allowing Rivers to move inside. You also have McCoy who can play both OT and OG. Hopefully Kinsler levels up swiftly. If so, depth should be okay.

Just remember where we are from where we were a year ago. What an upgrade!
