Miami Hurricanes star predicts next starting quarterback | Miami Herald

I hope that's not the case, but in reality he does have a leg up. The only thing is when you look at the entire season we were lucky to win some of the games we won with him and and ended with that horrible streak when he completely disappeared from games. You know what you getting from him and last year we got his max.

So while I'm all for an open QB competition ...I'm for moving on with the new guy if the competition is close.

Time to find someone with a higher ceiling than Rosier if we want to go further

That's his boy. Scrappy like himself, of course he's going to pull for Rosier. Not to worry, barring injury Rosier is not starting over Perry.

Thanks for posting but I'd take it with a grain of salt. Berrios is obviously going to loyal to the guy that was throwing to him for the last year and the guy he knows best.

He has some limitations but given how much he improved in one off-season, let's see what he does in another. That's not to say we won't meltdown ahead of then anyway.

Just find a QB who doesn't lock-on to one guy and goes through his progressions. Please.

I don't know if he is just being nice or if Perry really ain't the goods from what he seen in practice.

I was kinda surprised when I read Rosiers stats again, if you had told me at the start of the season he'd have stats like that I wouldn't have believed it. Three less int's and three more TD's and that's a impressive stat line.

He completed 51% of his passes against power 5 teams and for 7.32 YPP. That is horrendous.

Good thing he hasn't seen spring practice...he might just know wtf he's talking about.

We're talking about Rosier here. Short, Inaccurate, limited, didn't watch film til 2 years ago, can't read defenses Rosier. Perry talent should immediately be better then Rosier as Rosier basically plays like a 2 star true freshman.

Nothing about that changes the fact that he had decent stats and a few changes and it would have been even better.

Berrios needs too just worry about proving his doubters wrong.

Rosier should never throw a pass at the school again.

It would have been more honest of you to just say you don't like Rosier and want Perry to start everything be dammed.
If you think a true freshman two star plays like that you don't watch much football.

Sometimes he’s got to learn, if it’s a 4-yard under route, say, maybe take a little bit off of that for some guys.

Agree with BB here, Perry's gonna have to master the finesse throws like screens, crossing routes, throws to the flats, etc....noticed He struggled with those in the short practice clips that I watched last Summer.

Something else with Perry, is He seems to only throw the ball one way ...can He make what I've heard Gruden refer to as, "awkward angle throws"?

Also agree with BB that Perry can throw the $h!t out the ball.

Ugh... Let's take this slowly. The fact that I just quoted his terrible stats indeed changes the fact that he did not have decent stats.

51% of his passes. That was 98th in D-1. That is astronomically bad. He was the 5th worst Power 5 quarterback in that regard... in the country.

If "Sucks Balls" Rozier starts I'll be finding something else to do next year. Dude is terrible. We won despite him, not because of him.
