Berrios announcement tentatively set

hate to say it but he dont excite me. maybe i am one of those guys who is conscience about the height.
 
A more athletic Pimp Collier.

Every team needs a reliable slot man who can be counted to get open at a key juncture. Berrios can be that for us.
 
Hope he picks the U. We need an EE at WR. More time here the better for next year. He could play as a freshman for sure due to depth.
 
When is the last time we had someone like him? And I don't mean it because he is white. We seem to always have burners/athletes. This kid seems more like a possession kid who is quick in space and can really change the middle of the field. I don't recall in my 30 yrs of watching the Canes ever having someone like this... It's becoming more and more prominent in the NFL and I think we are adapting since it is soooo effective.

I think Collier was a good example. Maybe Sinorice Moss as well.

Steve Smith, Wes Welker, Santana Moss, Roscoe Parrish, Desean Jackson and Tavon Austin all say come at me bro. Those are all NFL WRs that are short.

This is college, height is even less important then it is in the pros. IMO, height is greatly overrated at the WR position. It is about mismatches for these guys. If they can run good routes, they will get open.

This guy Berrios is explosive and makes plays all over the field (QB, RB and WR). I am hoping we get him because he is a player that we normally don't go out and get or show interest.
 
I love Berrios. Reminds me of a young Ed McCaffrey. He has a lot of the same characteristics. His face has a vanilla shade to it, lighter hair color, very intelligent, hard worker.

Easy Ed was 6'5.

An explosive route runner in the slot would be a nice option for whichever new starting QB we trot out next year. He's insanely talented and would be a monster on the intermediate routes. Paired with Mr. Sandland, would make for nice safe options for a new QB to look for. Guy has TNT strapped to his feet.
