Barry Jacksons latest on the Perry saga

I agree with most of your points except for the last. I think the offensive system is too predictable. It’s abnormally easy to see what play will be called. I don’t think Richt sets his plays up well at all

To a certain degree its predictable, at the same time that fact is excerbated by the limitations of rosier and the immaturity and unwilling to be great perry. Right now, perry is satisfied with being mediocre, and if your qb has a mediocre mindset, your offense will be mediocre. Here's what i know about coach richt, he's a rhythm type play caller, when he has a qb that he can roll with and they are in sync, his offenses will go after any defense, no matter who the opponent is, he's not gone throttle his offense down and be conservative based on the opponent like alot of coaches do, coach richt stays aggressive with his play calls the majority of the time. He only gets conservative if his qb's a F'ing up.

Now, with him being a rhythm play caller he does go thru lulls as a play caller in game, and that's going back to his days at Fsu which is why often times our games became battles and that national championship game against V-tech was a prime example, but in the end coach richt led offenses put up points, its an offense that's predicated on the individual talents on the offensive players, no gimmicks to coach around the limitations of players, so from an offensive philosophical standpoint, i dont mind coach richt being the play caller, his plays work more often than they dont.

But i understand where you coming from, but coach richt understands running the ball, the one thing i dont like is, all these qb's not playing under center, to me that negates the True play actions. If perry smartens up, and becomes a work aholic to be great, this offense can be a problem, jarren may actually just be better than perry.

“Or perhaps by taking Perry to New York, Richt wanted Wisconsin to have to game-plan to face either Rosier or Perry.”

LMAO! No comment!
Yes, DC from Wisconsin now has to game plan for two below average Qbs

"its an offense that's predicated on the individual talents on the offensive players, no gimmicks to coach around the limitations of players"

tough to do that when you have an offensive recruiting class consisting of 1 WR, and below average offensive lineman and zero QB recruits and your best Wr leaving

Here's the deal with the UiF game too- I think we actually win it because they aren't/won't be that great (they're gonna get very exposed shortly by a Michigan team that isn't that great either). So a win will/could end up meaning wayyyyy less than a loss in the grand scheme of ascertaining the state of this program next year.

I think our qb does limit us to an extent but we have talent in that room he shouldn’t value experience as much as he does when a guy that is young is more talented it’s ***cing annoying. I want our qbs to take snaps under center too. To give different looks

Sounds great...he's forever mork prickt to me, even if he wins 10 Nattys in a row.
I hear you. When everything was about to go down. I wanted no part of coach prickt. I had one insight and it was solid. His record against the gayturds. My desperation for the old days caused me to buy in. The loss to FSU the first year already had me down. Then the inevitable. Tough to swallow. So I agree mork prickt forever.

What did He say?

The reporter I think was Jack Arute asked him if he would be interested in HC'ing in Miami, that motha phucka said NO and alluded to the fact that we had out of control players. It was right after FSU won in 99 and we got jipped in 2000. I remember being ****y about what he said and was like ***c him....15 years later he's the coach. I feel like he's here to finish pushing us over the cliff.
