A guy today was starting to step in it. He didn’t bring up the fact that he had been here 4 years but he was hinting at Diaz’s own behavior, the chains, and the dancing

Not a lot of research done here:

Haywood was fired after 2 years at Miami (OH)
Cameron got fired in the NFL, were coaches get fired after 1 year a lot more frequently than in CFB
When was Mike Price fired after 1 year?
When was George O'Leary fired after 1 year?
Again, another NFL example with Petrino

Petrino and Cameron also were fired after 1 year. Yes, it was the NFL. Those are examples.

By the way, you disregarded the rest of the post. Even if it was NEVER done before, that doesn't mean it shouldn't be done. How about that part about knowing 50% of the team before you became the HC?

Length of contract really doesnt matter. Only the buyout. Dude could have a 20 year contract but if he can be fired at anytime and buyout is $1 then who gives a ****. That said, we have no clue what horrible buyout we gave him. I'm sure it was a lot unfortunately

Yep, For sure I believe that is what you call a sissy shot over the bow. I can easily read thru that BS, if he don’t win out we will see if has the guts to admit his hand picked staff and his Prolific new Offense and Super Defense coordinator suck and fire them as quick as he did CMR people. We are so screwed next year.
