Meanwhile he doesn't want to be held to a standard by the Athletic Department or a Cane Legend who built the Miami standard.

James’ philosophy always has been to defer to his coach on how he runs his program. He gives him input - and states the obvious need to improve the offense in this case - but James’ approach has been to support his coach’s decisions and give the coach resources to succeed, but not make decisions that would run counter to what his coach wants or create issues that his coach would view as impediments.

James philosophy has not worked at all. We cant continue to let these coaches do what they want with no oversight. That's how sons and bffs get jobs they are not qualified for. James wants a head coach who is not held accountable. This makes no sense and this why the athletic department needs to be cleaned out.
 
So you mean to tell me Manny doesn’t want someone hired, who he knows is gonna fire him? Color me shocked.

Also LOL at offensive changes being the answer. He said that 12 months ago and with his hires and leadership we got worse. It’s time to cut the cord. Get this garbage out of here

I agree they shouldnt allow Manny to make the decision. It once again shows that Manny doesn’t think anything is wrong with his defense and it is an offensive issue. I hope he figured it out cause I want the Canes to win, I just don’t think he will.

I don't disagree, but the school's interest should be what's best for the school, not what's best for Manny Diaz. But this should be expected when the AD sucks just as much as the coach, if not more. Who cares what Manny wants at this point?

Perfect example of do as I say not as i do. Manny doesn't want to be held accountable, he doesnt hold his coaches accountable, but he wants players to buy in do things the right way. Gtfoh

We are actually in a win win situation. Manny either figures it out and we win 10 games which makes us all happy, or he sucks again and he is gone. Glad that everyone isn’t going to give him 3,4 or 5 years. He has talent on his roster so it shouldn’t take multiple years. Manny know she is in trouble and that’s why he started the rebuild talk. He is trying to buy time.
