Thus the reason it sucks so bad that we don't have a real AD, one that is "supposed to" run the department like a GM runs a pro ball club.
Blake is screwed because he screwed everyone by claiming a real head coaching search was going to ensure, and it never did...WHOEVER made the final decision, he guaranteed such an exhaustive search and cheaped out.
Then, with a quality (on paper) squad, Manny manages to put the whip cream on the already existing dog **** and compile arguably the worst UM season since Saban and Schnelly's first years in '77 and '79.
Now, it is CLEAR his newbie head coach is in over his head without (and maybe even with) an all world assistant staff that Flake and BOT wont pay for...and he is worried about Manny's delicate ego and having to answer to someone who has done it at the highest levels for decades?
WTF kind of amatuer hour bull**** this is....
