Barry Article On The Qbs

lol it’s funny how y’all said it was all Richts fault with the QB situation, and he had a room of 13 year olds...

He did recruit all the 13 year olds and refused to hold his son accountable....so there’s that.

According to the feminine community, it was all the richt's fault, and the feminine community also said coach richt should've left perry in the UVA game cause he was only 3 of 6 for 20yrds and 2 picks, but according to those same imbeciles, he was just about to heat up, even tho he couldnt answer the questions coach richt would ask him when he came to the sideline. So when coach richt made the statement that "rosier gives us the best chance to win" alot of people chose to be volunteer moron's, as if coach richt didnt want to win. Again, coach richt knew what he was doing and dealt with the situation real and in house! Hopefully the clueless have read this article.
You sound just dumb

I’m not defending Richt by any means but I’m sure no coach expects 3 QB’s to get suspended in the same season. Yes he recruited them but so did a lot of other schools. Richt did them no favor with his playcalling but you gotta look in the mirror too and grow tf up as a player...

Is Jon Richt qualified to be the QB coach at UM?

BJ's article was full of $h!t. Gauthier started making the line calls after the LSU game while Rosier was still the QB. That article reads like He's regurgitating a bunch of bull$h!t that He reads on here.

That has nothing to do with a college athlete not acting like an idiot at a prolific university. Baby Jon had no business being our QB coach but no excuse for players acting like 13 year olds

Listen, the quickest way to get people you're in charge of to tune you out is to keep makin' em' do $h!t that's not working...it's that simple.

People wrote off the kids from the D Golden left behind, and look what happened.

Coaching matters, especially in College.

He said gauthier was given more responsibility when perry was at qb. He didn't say he wasnt making calls at all before that.

Either way it's bull$h!t.

Rosier was in Richt's system for 3 years and looked overwhelmed with making the line calls in the LSU game.

In His post-game interview Rosier said LSU showed them a lot of looks they didn't see on film, whose job was it to adjust?

And listen to what Diaz said of Metocha: “When you start looking at the intangibles of the way we want to build our quarterback room … He’s a gym rat, smart, tough, loves ball, wants to think the game out, a guy we thought would really help us reshape the quarterback room.”

Love the quote on Tate & the quote from Diaz on Matocha, I'm certain he'll end up Redshirting this season & who knows what he'll do in the next 3 years here, but the key phrases is "gym rat, tough & loves ball".

In today's era of college football, you HAVE to have a QB that absolutely loves the game & spend countless hours studying film looking for the tendencies of the defense. Talent can only get you but so far, you need to have an edge & that edge comes from preparation. There should never be any surprises when you step out their on the field, every look & coverage the Defense gives you, if you've studied you shoulda seen it already.

That's why I'm a big proponent of always recruiting QB's from Texas, the TX football scene runs college level Uptempo Spread offenses in HS, so those QB's are being prepped to run those style of offenses from 7th & 8th grade. By the time they hit HS even as Freshman & Soph they're already ahead of the curve, which is why so many of them transition easily & tear it up in college.

Plus TX QB's have a sh*t ton of pressure on them in HS, if they mess up or fail they have to deal with their angry helicopter dad coming down on'em because he can't live vicariously through him lol

So true El, those dads in Texas do truly live vicariously through their son’s QB play. All in all, a very frank and compelling article by Jackson. It was telling to hear the ***** ups that all 3 QB’s endeared throughout the season. One has to truly believe some of that was self made, but some absolutely no accountability from Jon Boy or Pastor Richt either when scouting them or giving them the tools necessary to cope and function in college. I don’t think Richt could relate to today’s QB, nor their social media game. So **** glad Enos’ first words out of his mouth where for them to shape up, become leaders on the team, and become accountable to the coaches and their teammates. It’s somewhat startling that Perry seems to not “get it” as much as maybe Weldon and Williams appear to be turning around their images. Lord help us that Tate gets the waiver so he can step on to the field and show these boys how to be a man.

Yeah, Metocha's nickname should be 'Varsity Blues'....

Perry just gets caught with his minor silly shît in the public. The real head case might be williams. He did all that flip flopping in hs, he mailed it in once he knew he wasn't playing and got fat, and was bout to transfer.
Yup! I definitely see him transferring. He already showed his hand. Manny also showed his!

It was Richts fault. He groomed these guys his entire tenure here and the cess pool of our QB was the best he could do...his creation.

For real. Imo the guys had issues but I think something that didn’t help them was a probable total lack of respect for lil Jon
Well Jon never should have had the job of QB coach in the first place. He had no tract record to speak of and didn't know what the **** he was doing! Enos has a track record that demanded respect from the QBs. Everywhere he's been his group improved and he has the proof from his past coaching jobs. Therefore the respect is earned. Jon has nothing to show to if he could achieve coaching up QBs!! Therefore he was disrespect as a punk pushed up by daddy!
