Makes no sense to leave early if you're not even going to be drafted in an attempt to support your family. But good luck.
If he makes practice squad he can help support his family instead of playing for free.

hope he does well in the draft. Seems he has a tough situation from what was reported last week

Kid's not going to get any taller, that's always going to limit how high he'd go in the draft.
That said, not sure he'll even be drafted. Essentially tossing the dice for a potential payoff of a hundred K? Must really need the money.
4th-6th round is not out of the question for bandy. He will test really well and has enough good film the last 3 years. Only reason he won’t go higher is because of his heightHow many practice squad players you see for multiple years? He would make a solid 6-figure salary (around $150k after taxes) for a year, then what? He could come back, earn his degree and probably improve his draft positioning with more film under his belt and potentially be a 4th-5th round pick which would net him more money.
There's A LOT of things going on behind the Orange and Green curtain that YOU, or I, or any other Miami fan doesn't know about. In other words, the locker room is HIGHLY TOXIC and what not. So I don't blame Bandy for bolting that cesspool of a team room!
