Bandy declares

Makes no sense to leave early if you're not even going to be drafted in an attempt to support your family. But good luck.

There's A LOT of things going on behind the Orange and Green curtain that YOU, or I, or any other Miami fan doesn't know about. In other words, the locker room is HIGHLY TOXIC and what not. So I don't blame Bandy for bolting that cesspool of a team room!

Kid's not going to get any taller, that's always going to limit how high he'd go in the draft.

That said, not sure he'll even be drafted. Essentially tossing the dice for a potential payoff of a hundred K? Must really need the money.

Appreciate your hardwork to the program young man, its been an Honor having you as a Cane. Good luck with your football career, we know you'll give your all to try and represent wherever you end up. And way to show True Class and respect for the ones that Truly helped you along your UM journey, you've earned the rite to leave deep state institution, Godspeed!

If he makes practice squad he can help support his family instead of playing for free.

How many practice squad players you see for multiple years? He would make a solid 6-figure salary (around $150k after taxes) for a year, then what? He could come back, earn his degree and probably improve his draft positioning with more film under his belt and potentially be a 4th-5th round pick which would net him more money.

There's always the CFL. And Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and yes Calgary are such better places to live than most of SOUTH FLORIDA. dUh.

He'll be a 6th or 7th rounder at best depending on how he tests.

Whatever is going on he supposedly understands he could go undrafted and may never play ball again. Must be serious to let that go and whatever it is you gotta wish him the best. Hope they watch his freshman and soph film and not his junior tape.

He'll get a shot at the nickel for someone. He's hard nosed, tackles well, and has decent ball skills. Those types are lacking in today's game... but he's limited to that position only. He won't survive on the boundary in the NFL.

Lamarcus Joyner was 5'8 and still went in the 2nd round. It matters how good you are as a player. Sure, being undersized doesn't help. But being mediocre while being undersized doesn't do you any favors.

4th-6th round is not out of the question for bandy. He will test really well and has enough good film the last 3 years. Only reason he won’t go higher is because of his height

So you are spreading toxicity that you don’t know about for what positive purpose?
