For the love of everything, Can we please stop with the running style Aussie Punts??
At times this season he came so close to getting it blocked and last night it got us !!

Doing it near your end zone is criminally ******* stupid especially after the one before almost got blocked

I wasn’t even surprised when it happened

This was the biggest issue and one of the reasons I said Miami needs to invest heavily into special teams.

In that area of the field, at that point in the game, you need to make sure everyone is aware that the punt needs to get off. Most Miami fans are sitting there watching the punt thinking to themselves, "please don't get this blocked". You instinctively know the situation and the stakes.

The same exact thing happened when we played Louisville. I think everyone in the stadium is sitting there saying, "please watch the fake".

They need to approach special teams as seriously as they do defense and offense. Mario went out and got the best DC he could last year. He needs to go get the best special teams coordinator he can. Make it a strength and make teams fear it. Special teams is the biggest bang for your buck you can spend.

When they showed the replay and I saw it was 87 in that last line of defense I asked who was in-charge of personnel for punt protection and how was 87 allowed to be there given his notable inability to block consistently all season on offense.

How that guy stayed on the field all year is beside me. The guy was constantly looking for someone to block rather than engaging where he was needed.

He plays like he's afraid of contact. No idea how he makes it past any week's video review by the staff.

TE room must be regular ash if he on the field. Still dont understand what's going on with that group.
