Arkstate article

Having trained ia few times in that ****hole known as Arkansas, I think the team not having to travel there is fine. Who cares what a bunch of in-bred, telephone pole family tree people think? Their only claims to fame is a chain store which pedals cheap Chinese junk and a corrupt politician who liked fat chicks.

We canceled to avoid playing Arkansas State because they came close to defeating unranked Nebraska .....LMAO. Even if Golden or Shannon was still HC, Miami wouldnt be scared to play them fools. Boy stop...

DAT BROWNS COUNTRY STORE BUFFET DOE

We cancelled UCLA in the nineties but rescheduled it at the end of the season. Why didn't we do that if we really wanted to play the game.

Why should we? Some of you guys are hilarious. You complain about scheduling Ark. State but then whine when we cancel due to a Cat 5 hurricane?

They are not relevant. They are not even close to our level. It would end with us winning by 17+ so what good does it do us to play them later in the season? This isn't FSU, UF, Notre Dame, UNC, or even Duke. We don't need to play them. They don't matter. Why should we go out of our way to give them a beating?

This whole narrative they've deluded themselves with, that we're "avoiding them" shows just how irrelevant they are. This game was their superbowl, to us it was just another practice.

I was with you until you said UF and relevant in the same thread...:monkey-serious:

Fair point. I was a bit delirious at the time. Please forgive

Arkansas fans just can't show any class. Screenshot_20170908-091436.jpg

I hope CMR gets them back on the schedule for futures seasons. I want us to beat them so badly that they consider getting rid of their football program. ******* punks.

So easy to pass judgement when it's not your family, your home, your business that stands in a storm of this magnitudes path. Classless pricks.

I'd be okay with replacing Bethune/FAU for one of our cupcake OOC games every year with Arky St.

Beating them senseless on an annual basis would be nice.

I can honestly say I've never seen an Arkansas State alum resume or CV cross my desk. But I am looking forward to the day one does, they will merit special attention and I will be personally interviewing the candidate.

Me either.

But we typically don't see many escorts and strippers from west of the Rockies around here.

My only problem with this game is I wish we could reschedule so we can kick their butts for thinking we're avoiding them.

They have shown they don't deserve the attention nor consideration of being on a future schedule.

I was a student at UM at the time of Hurricane Andrew. I happened to be in Boston at the time of the storm and was scheduled to fly back to MIA on the morning of August 24, 1992. My flight was cancelled and I couldn't fly back to MIA until August 31 or September 1, 1992. Anyone who doesn't think that traveling is a problem after a hurricane has never been through a hurricane.

I fortunately lived north of Kendall, but helped with cleanup several days after in just the Kendall area.

About a week later, I was in Honestead and it literally looked like pictures I've seen of Hiroshima after the bomb. If you've ever seen that kind of devastation in person you see the impact. I mean houses and businesses were literally blown up, miles and miles were just leveled. Flattened. I always wondered how it was that hundreds or even thousands weren't killed.

I think we should ask them to come play in Miami this Sunday. There are grandmas in Miami that are tougher than them.

The only problem is that Golden had problems holding a lead against Nebraska, if you'll recall.

But this is not Golden's team.

Punk a$$ inbreds. The biggest problem any player on that team will ever have is trying to fit that Vizio big screen they bought down at Wal-Mart through the door of their double-wide.

You know why this narrative from Ark St forums isnt being spread or discussed by sports media? Because no one gives a **** about Ark St.

Let them puff out their chests about us being 'scared' all they want. They know the truth. While they might say we 'are no longer relevant', they never were relevant. And still arent just because they almost beat a ****** Nebraska team.

My buddy picked me up at MIA and drove west to get to the Turnpike south to show me the devastation. Every house was flattened, every tree was down, planes at MIA were upside down on the runways, there was no electricity in most places for weeks, in short, it was a mess. I had never seen anything like that, haven't seen it since, and hope to never again see it. The difference is I have a wife and kids I need to protect. If you can't comprehend how dangerous these storms can be, I hope you are never in one.
